    Brazil leaves World Cup

The World Cup ended too early for Kakà and his team-mates. Unfortunately, they lost against Netherlands 2-1 in QFs, even if the team played well in the first half-time. They were a little bit unlucky on the dutch first goal, and after that brazilian players collapsed psychologically. Maybe blue shirt brings bad luck.

Kakà’s quotes: “We lost on details, on two facts of game, and it gives a feeling of pain and frustration. I know in which point it aches for those who suffer with us and they can know that we also suffer.” Questioned about his future in selection and a possible participation in the next World cup, which Brazil will organize in 2014, Kakà answered: “I do not know that it is going to take place in the meantime. It is a very difficult moment for me. The road is still long and this defeat is very fresh cool. At this moment, I have to think about it.”

He added: “I did everything I could, I struggled every day to get well & play on the field. Sometimes, I thought I would not recover for the WC.”

Team doctor also said: “Maybe in other situations Kakà would not have played at the World Cup, but he really wanted to be there. He played at only 85 per cent of his normal conditions and would have withdrawn from the squad if it wasn’t the World Cup.Kakà wasn’t fully match fit.” said Rundo to reporters. “We have to thank him for his efforts.”

For more news, Dunga resigned from coach’s post, and we should know the name of his successor at the end of July (press talked about Leonardo or Scolari). Kakà returned at home near his wife and his son in São Paulo.

We wish the best to Kakà, a good season with Real Madrid and especially no more injuries and a healthy season! We hope that he will participate at WC 2014 in Brazil!

Here are some photos of the match:

We are thinking about 2014 because Kakà have to move on, he doesn’t need to leave World Cup on a defeat. Besides, we hope that he will be there, but now no one knows who will be in team in 2014, no one said he WILL be there…
Maybe Real Madrid destroyed a lot of players but RM also brought a lot of players to the very best (like Zidane Ronaldo… etc)
Now, everyone just hope that Ricky will be healthy this season and we hope that he will play at his very best.

About Brazil’s coachs, that’s the CBF which will decide, there are many of the other names which were quoted.

    Training session pics [Update]

Are they really training for World Cup ?! :D Tomorrow, the match against Netherlands takes place at 4 pm (not 8.30 pm)

Video Update: Kakà and Robinho train

According to CBF website: The Brazilian selection is in the Port Elizabeth, where will take place the quarterfinal against the Holland. They were received with the song of welcome the Zulu in Protea Marine the Hotel The journey was quiet, in the climate of happiness,  from Johannesburg to the Port Elizabeth. From the airport to Protea Marine the Hotel, the time was approximately 10 minutes and the delegation was received by the employees of the hotel with the flags of Brazil and the songs of welcome (Zulu). Brazilian fans also received the Brazilian Selection in front of the hotel. As soon as they left luggage in apartments, most of them went for the sea, the others went to the living room where the snack is served.

    The seleção reachs QFs

It’s a shiny Brazil that we found last evening against Chile! Without forcing their talent, Brazilians won the match (3 – 0) thanks to the “magic trident”: Kakà-Robinho-Luis Fabiano! The first goal was scored by Juan on a corner sent by Maicon (35′). Then, Kakà sent a light touch through the defense to Luís Fabiano, who scored the second goal (38′). Finally, Robinho scored the third (and his first goal in this World Cup) on the 59th minute.

European press greets the performance of the Seleção: french newspaper L’Equipe titles  “And 1, and 2 and 3-0!“; In Spain, Marca rents “champion’s way” of Brazil “to crush” Chile. Guardian greets the performance of Kakà who allowed Brazil ” to be out of the ordinary“. The website of the brazilian newspaper O’Globo, advance the return of  Kakà who gave a decisive pass to Luis Fabiano on the second purpose.  ” Our number 10 is back “, the site titles.

Kakà made a great performance on the pitch, he confirms his good shape! He is the better passer of the World Cup, equally with Thomas Müller (3 decisive pass). He would have been able to stand out on a service of Michel Bastos 69th. Kaka went out in ten minutes of the end.

Kakà’s quotes after the match:My role is to help, it is not to score “, declared  Kakà, who returned from suspension against Chile. ” I am very happy when I can help the others to score goals, Luis Fabiano and Robinho. It is my third decisive pass in this World cup. I am satisfied that we progress, I am going to try to be the best passer and to help Luis Fabiano to become maybe better striker of the World Cup. In every match, the enjoyment increases. There are three matches. We are going to continue to play, with the quality of the players which we have “.

I feel every time lighter on the ground, that helps me a lot and that always makes me more confident, explains Kakà. I managed to make some accelerations, individually I progress, as what was planned.

Only fly in the ointment, Kakà received a yellow card during the match. He appeared a little bit nervous and annoyed during the match. Dunga said about that: “Yes, it is a problem, I don’t want that he will be suspended. We are going to speak about that with Kakà, that concerns him.“  If Kakà receives an another yellow card in QFs, he will be suspended for the SFs (if they win of course!) , so chill out ;)

Brazil will play against Netherlands on Friday 2nd July, in Johannesburg at 8.30 pm, 4 pm!

The highlights are here and you can check out the pics of the match ;)

    • Paige 5:49 pm on June 30, 2010 Permalink

      Alright. Thanks.

Saw a Yahoo! Sports article where Dunga’s getting a little fed up with the teams bookings, especially Kaka’s. Feels the refs are targeting his guys on purpose.

    • Hana 3:34 pm on June 30, 2010 Permalink

He tackled a chilian player. Kakà made a foul but I think a yellow card was a little bit harsh…

    • Paige 6:53 am on June 30, 2010 Permalink

Anybody know what this yellow card was for? Had to run out on an errand (pick up my high school diploma that had to be re-done) and missed most of the first half.

Anyway, I have discovered something fun to do when matches get boring. I play “Where’s Kaka?” when he’s on the field. It’s fun.

    Brazil will face Chile

In the term of a boring and tasteless match, Brazil and Portugal separated on a draw ( 0-0 ). Dunga had let some occupants take rest (Robinho, Elano) and Kakà was suspended. With this score, Brazil kept the 1st place of the group and was so able to avoid Spain in the next tour. Thus, Seleção will face Chile, a match not so easy, because Chile is a solid and offensive team.

The match will take place on Monday at 8:30 pm in Johannesburg.

Let’s see Kakà cheering his team-mates:

After the (unfair) expulsion against Ivory Coast, Kakà keeps smiling even if he’s sad to miss the clash against Portugal. During a press conference, he talked about his eviction:

“I should have controlled myself a bit more” he said, while blasting Keita for “simulation. These things should be avoided – you should avoid taking risks at a World Cup. It was not a comfortable situation. I should have controlled myself a bit more. But the referee was very severe. He saw my reaction but not the provocation.”

“Unfortunately, there was simulation. If I had been to blame I would have come out and said <<I am sorry>>, I offer you an apology. But that’s not how it was – I didn’t lose the plot. I continued to play normally but there was a bit of an army bargy and it all ended with my dismissal.”

“Even my grandmother was angry with the referee” . Kakà said his grandmother, Vera, was as upset as he was with being sent off late in Brazil’s 3-1 victory at Soccer City Stadium on Sunday. “I can’t repeat here what she said about the referee,” a laughing Kaka said Tuesday. “She was happy with the way I played, but sad with the sending off. With all the respect that she has, she launched a bit of a tirade at the referee.”

He also mentionned his shape and his performance during the match:

“I’ve had a lot of physical difficulties this season and that was the worst, because I’ve always led an athlete’s life and I know how important it is for a player to be in good physical shape”, he continued. “I don’t think about the pubalgia, I don’t feel pain.”

“I wasn’t at my best in the game against North Korea but I played much better against Ivory Coast. It was a relief to play well.”

He ended with talking about his Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo and Brazil team’s performance:

“I talk regularly with Cristiano. Last time he told me my sending off was unfair.”

But he said their club friendship would be set aside at least for the final group match, even though he will have to watch from the sidelines, and insisted Brazil would look to win.

“Brazil are going all out to win another important match – it is important to ensure top spot. OK, I know a draw will leave us top but a victory is good for confidence.”

Asked what his role would be in the run-up to the game Kakà said: “I must remain exemplary in training. I will help them, motivate them, advise them, talk to them and adopt an active attitude.”

Kakà will not play against Portugal, but he thinks about the future: “I can see the positive side, which is that I will have another week to work on improving my physical strength.”

Now, the nice pics of Kakà during the press conference and the training session. Enjoy his lovely smile!

Good match for Kakà but unfair end

That’s the Brazil we love to see! Tonight, the Seleçao won against Ivory Coast 3-1 and Kakà made a great performance on the pitch! On 25 minutes in Johannesburg, Kakà supplied Luis Fabiano to hammer. In the second half-time, Luis Fabiano scored again with a volley from the edge of the box after eluding three opposing players. On 62 minutes, Kakà made a decisive pass to Elano, who scored the third goal. That’s the great part of the match, Kakà played well and made 2 desicives pass.

Then, Ivory Coast’s players began to multiply faults against brazilians players and unfortunately, the french referee made mistakes too. According to Eurosport.com:

Elano was carted off two minutes after he scored. A horrid late tackle by Cheik Tiote should have produced a straight red card from French referee Stephane Lannoy. The Ivory Coast man clearly used his studs in a stamping motion on the Brazilian’s shin.

At the end of the macth, Kakà was sending off the pitch after received 2 yellow cards in  3 minutes, because of a ridiculous simulation from Kader Keita. Keita feigned injury and collapsed holding his face when the Real Madrid player only brushed his chest with an elbow.

Every specialists agree to say that’s it’s a scandal and an injustice. Dunga was angry about that:

The game was very physical. It was very complicated against this team of Ivory Coast. The beautiful game has to be better controlled. Sometimes, the football practised by the players of the Ivory Coast was unacceptable. By forgetting certain faults, the referee punished the beautiful football. Moreover, the eviction of Kakà was unjustified . He was subjected to a fault and was punished. I find that there are too many red and yellow cards.

    Michel Bastos, Kakà’s team-mate, added:

I find that the eviction of Kakà is not deserved. The referee  made a mistake. When the Ivory Coast player Kader Keita came on him, he protected itself. But I am sure that Kakà will be back stronger!

Kakà should be suspended against Portugal on Friday, but there is every chance that Brazil will appeal the decision before the final match. And we hope that he will not be suspended for two matches!

Ok, we don’t have to forget that the Seleçao secured their place in the World Cup round of 16, that’s the good news!

He should not have gotten that red card for the second incident on Sunday. I’ve seen replay after replay and the Ivory Coast player PURPOSELY ran into Kaka so it would LOOK like he’d elbowed him. Our guy never saw it coming.

Well it was a hell of a game. Great passes from Kaka & great goals of Luis Fabiano & Elano. Hmmm wonder how is Elano after that kick. Kaka’s patience was wear down thin yesterday thats all I can say. We are all humans & whelther he fouled the Ivory Coast player or this one dramatized the whole thing. Or the referee was unfair with the red card. Kaka is the best player in the whole world. We all have off days & it was his case yesterday. 100 % with Brazil & Kaka… Greetings love u all…

    • Ann Pham 4:35 pm on June 21, 2010 Permalink

why did the referee gave kaka 2 yellow card even he didnt see wat happend???? this is so ridiculous!!!! FIFA government should watch this match again and punish Stephane Lannoy and Keita instead of Kaka!!! Ivory Coast is really ashame!!! i hope they should go home soon after the match with North Korea!!!
      Kaka….be strong…..ur fans always support u….. God knows u…..all the world know u…..u’re the best……Jesus bless u!!! <3<3

    • adi 3:59 pm on June 21, 2010 Permalink

no reason to give him a red card, too rough play Ivory coast and the judge was very rude !
      Love you kaka

    • Jocelyne Barrera 3:30 pm on June 21, 2010 Permalink

The referee made a huge mistake. The Ivory Coast’s team made a lot of fouls. When they hit Elano, you could see that it was a straight hit to the leg and not to the ball. The referee gave Kaká 2 yellow cards but to the Ivory Coast’s team no even when the fouls were obvious! When it comes to Kaká’s second yellow card it was ridiculous, if the Ivory Coast’s player really got him by Kaká, why did the player grab his face instead of grabbing his cheast? I need to know the opinions of other people.

    • Hana 2:52 pm on June 21, 2010 Permalink

the referee didn’t see when Keita and Kakà had a contact, he spoke to the players of Ivory Coast and took the decision to give a second yellow card to Kakà. That’s a big mistake…

    • Dan Rotty 1:11 pm on June 21, 2010 Permalink

We all agreed that Brazil played very well but we have to be fear to the Referree. I dont think he made any mistake. Kaka did that intentionally . Yes, he really did. The Referree was very fair. He did not want to give out yellow cards anyhow talkless of red cards but he had no choice in Kakas case. Soccer fans……………………………….please be fair.

    • Milk 11:12 am on June 21, 2010 Permalink

What is the standard of getting a yellow card? Tiote’s tackle on Elano didn’t deserve one instant red card while Kaka really deserved 2 yellow? Why the referee didn’t see what the Ivory Caost players did on Brazilians? Is that because Brazil win the game so he wanted to do something as a pity on the “weaker” side?

    Brazil shade plucky North Korea

As you know, the first match of the brazil team in this World Cup, took place today in a cold evening.  The Seleção won 2-1 (brazilian goals: Maicon (55′) and Elano (72′)) but we didn’t see the best face of the team: slow game, no rhythm, technical and tactical faults especially in the first half-time. Fortunately, the team woke up in the second half-time.

Kakà also said: “It was very hard. We keep many positive things of this match, but we have to improve our game. We knew a first delicate period, with a lack of speed, but we took three points. I am satisfied with my first match, knowing that I came back from wound, and I played 70 minutes. It was very hard, it is the team which closes fast and good. We had few spaces, they very well played. In first period, they closed well, in second, they left more spaces and we finally scored 2 goals.

The most important is that they took 3 points in a very hard group. We hope that they will improve their game against Ivory Coast , Sunday 20th June, at Johannesburg.

    Brazil leads the group G:

    Cote d Ivoire Ivory Coast 1 0 1 0 1
    Portugal Portugal 1 0 1 0 1
    Korea DPR Korea DPR 1 0 0 1 0

You can see here the highlights of the match (and the wonderful goal (and tears!) of Maicon)

And now, the pics of Kakà!

    World Cup: Here we are!

We’ve waited… and here we are, the historic World Cup in Africa finally began! Now, we just have to wait a few more days to see the Seleção with Kakà! He’s still working hard and we hope that he will make a great World Cup, so no matter the doubts (and critics…) about his shape, we will support him!  Brazil team will play on the 15th June against North Korea (20.30, Johannesburg).

    Kakà scored against Tanzania

Kakà and his team-mates are ready for the World Cup and they proved it against Tanzania: they won 5-1. Kakà scored at the 76th minute (Robinho and Ramires scored the 4 goals). According to several sports websites, Kakà made a good match and he felt comfortable on the pitch as a conductor of the team!  Good news for the World Cup!

Here, the highlights of the match;  and, of course, some pics of the match:
