Brasil when stars were entertaining June

Good news!. Kaka is guaranteed his place in the Brazilian World Cup squad next year, alongside Ronaldinho, Cafu, Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo. “It will be extremely hard,” Parreira told the Globo TV. “Some coaches have difficulties in finding 23 good players, but I have 35, 40 players to choose from, and unfortunately some of them will have to be left out.” Parreira said Brazil always has enough talented players, but his biggest challenge is to achieve balance. (AP)So yeah, get your flags, jerseys and tambourines ready all you Brazilian fans!. A few new pictures have been added to the gallery. Also, there’s a new “Wedding” page up under Kaka, so go check it out!.

    Kaka’s good year!

L’Equipe have named Kak? in their “Dream Team” for 2005, together with his Brazilian team mate Ronaldinho. The other players from AC Milan also included in the list were Paolo Maldini and Andriy Schevchenko. The 11 players named were: Gregory Coupet (FRA, Lyon), Willy Sagnol (FRA, Bayern de Munique), John Terry (ING, Chelsea), Jamie Carragher (ING, Liverpool), Paolo Maldini (ITA, Milan), Kak? (BRA, Milan), Frank Lampard (ING, Chelsea), Steven Gerrard (ING, Liverpool), Ronaldinho Gaucho (BRA, Barcelona), Shevchenko (UCR, Milan) and Samuel Eto’o (CAM, Barcelona).More reports on the wedding have?emerged?(if you are still interested). Caroline was reportedly not served any alcoholic beverage at the post party due to the fact that she was an “evangelico”. The party started at 10, and ended at only 5 in the morning (the couple left around 12 plus). Caroline’s mother, Ros?ngela Lyra also said that she was certain that both of them “are very mature” and will be happy in Milan together.

    Post Wedding anyone?

The only updates we’re getting these days are on The wedding. Apparently at the party thrown at the Hyatt, Kaka and Caroline only stayed for 2 hours before being whisked up to their suite (in the same hotel). There was also plenty of champagne flowing at the party (food comprised of salad, meat and fruits) and Kaka was “glowing” half the time, according to the Brazilian press. Also, Caroline cried on the altar when she heard the choir singing the song which Kaka wrote. New MSN/LJ icons have been added and the photo gallery has been updated.Have a marvellous Boxing Day, and I hope ya’ll got what you wanted! ;)

    The Wedding (Part 2).

Seems like the Press is going crazy over the fact that Caroline is only 18/a teenager, etc. Honestly, it’s being blown out of proportion. I think they’ll last and shouldn’t be compared to Ronaldo and his countless girlfriends. You can see more pictures at the Gallery Also, did you guys know that the church choir sang a song especially written by Kaka for Carol?. That’s amazing!. Now we know he has musical talent too. Another thing is, where do you think they are spending their Honeymoon?. Of course, not to forget, Have a great one.

    Wedding of the Year!

CONGRATULATIONS / Parab?ns Kaka & Caroline! SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) — Brazil midfielder Kaka wed an 18-year-old Brazilian student on Friday in Sao Paulo in a ceremony attended by soccer stars Ronaldo, Cafu and Roberto Carlos. The 23-year-old Kaka and Caroline Celico tied the knot in front of about 600 guests at the evangelical Reborn in Christ Church. After the wedding, the couple offered what was called “a simple party” at an upscale hotel, Kaka’s spokesman Diogo Kotscho said. Among the guests were several of Kaka’s teammates in Brazil’s national team, including Roque Junior, Dida and Ze Roberto, Julio Baptista, Ricardinho and Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira also were present.Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf – Kaka’s teammate at AC Milan, Sao Paulo state Gov. Geraldo Alckmin and Sao Paulo Mayor Jose Serra also were invited, but their presence was not immediately confirmed. Kaka and Celico, who will live in Italy, have been together since meeting nearly three years ago in Brazil, when the bride was 16. Celico finished high school this year, and plans to earn a business degree at a university in Milan.Celico wore a Christian Dior dress, while Kaka, whose real name is Ricardo Izecson Santos Leite, was in a Giorgio Armani suit. (Oo lala )The couple will honeymoon at an undisclosed location outside Brazil, Kotscho said.Kaka is a regular starter for Brazil and is nearly certain to play in the 2006 World Cup in Germany. He was a member of the squad that won the 2002 Cup in Japan and South Korea. The player’s wedding attracted a lot of media attention locally, although not nearly as much as the lavish wedding of Greek billionaire Athina Roussel Onassis and Brazilian Olympic equestrian Alvaro Afonso de Miranda on Dec. 3.Both events were sealed off to the media and anyone not carrying an invitation. In February, Ronaldo and Brazilian model and television hostess Daniella Cicarelli celebrated their engagement with a lavish party at a castle north of Paris on Valentine’s Day. The couple broke up barely three months after the event.I could only find 2 official pictures of the couple. PLEASE notify me if you have found more! 24 more hours!

After Milan won 3-0 at Livorno, Kaka was very satisfied with his team?s performance, saying, “It was a very important away game victory. I didn?t score, but that?s ok because the team played really well. We can be happy in these next ten days, after passing this test. Changing positions with Seedorf was very important; it made things difficult for our opponent. Today was the first time I played on the right and then on the left. The coach?s strategy worked”. -Goal.com (LMAO, of course you can be happy Ricky – you’re GETTING MARRIED! ;) Also, preparations are going underway for the wedding at the Evangelical Church “Renascer em Cristo” in Sao Paolo. Click the thumbnails to see the photos!.
