    Loads and loads of goodies

New LayoutWe have a spankin new layout and it’s BLUE!. And as you can see, there are a lot of other features. Thanks Honey for helping me with the coding during the process of making it :) . You’ll be seeing it till the World Cup comes around. News Articles (Kaka says NO to sex before?World Cup games) 1. Read a fantastic article here (thanks again Jillian!). Here’s an excerpt from it?(which I find is one of the best descriptions any member of the press has given to Ricky). Kaka is also gifted with marvelously perceptive passing, and in the 2005 Champions League final he provided key through balls for two of Milan’s three goals against Liverpool; the pass for the third, where in one movement he bisected the entire Liverpool midfield and defense, was one of the most metaphysical, out-of-gravity assists of all time. Despite Milan’s eventual inexplicable loss, Kaka was deservedly voted the best midfielder of the tournament in a poll conducted by UEFA. 2.?Kaka spoke about the World Cup and the problem of fatigue. In the Brazilian article, he mentioned “I am not tired, I feel?well.?Everyone?spoke about fatigue in last year’s Confederations Cup?but we were successful and I also find that we will not have problems because we will be given one week?for resting and relaxing a little”. And also Kaka mentioned that sex before the World Cup games must be prevented. “Everything has it’s own time. Before the game players should concentrate, it?is not the right time to think about sex. After the game, when the players are tranquil (free from anxiety), than the players can make time for sex and other things but everything has its time and?the eve of an important game is not?the hour to be thinking about this.” (ROFL)Do we smell a potential counsellor in Ricky?. [Source:Reuters Brazil]NEW VIDEOS!Also, we’ve got videos – interviews featuring Kaka!. You’ll get to download 3 of them today from our video gallery, so head on over there now!. A few screenshots from the videos have been added to the gallery.

    Kaka vs Lyon

AC Milan hold Lyon to drawLyon drew 0-0 against six-time European champion AC Milan in a Champions League quarterfinal first-leg match at Stade Gerland on Wednesday.Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko wasted three scoring chances and Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet made several key saves. The return leg will be played next Tuesday at Milan’s San Siro stadium, where Lyon will welcome back influential playmaker Juninho from suspension. [Read full article here]Kaka’s take Kak? had this to say to the Milan Channel: ‘It wasn’t a bad result considering they do well at home. With our fans behind us at the San Siro we have a great chance. As for that lump of turf, I had got past Cris and saw Sheva behind and Gila marked but the ball bounced badly as I tried to shoot.’ As for the good backheel with Sheva in the first half, the Brazilian added: ‘It was the only time I tried it, it’s a pity the ball didn’t go into the goal. We were a bit tired in the second half, we had to hold on to the ball more and control the game more because the long balls were tiring us out. It will be tough next Tuesday but that’s fine as we have a side that is more concentrated on the task ahead.’Kaka had several goal attempts, you can download one here. Also, photos from the match have been added to the gallery.

    Lyon Press Conference

Carlo Ancelotti and Ricky Kak? were present at the press conference ahead of the Lyon game: ‘I have a good goal average in the Champions League but that’s not what counts. If I set them up and play for the team that is sufficient for me. The Brazilians in the Lyon side are all good players. They all play for the national side. Juninho is the standard-bearer, Fred is becoming one of the top strikers in the world. Cris is coming on well. I don’t know Ca?apa that well but he is doing well.’ The key to the game could be Kak?’s relationship with Andriy Shevchenko: ‘We have to look to create space behind their full-backs. Sheva and me are close, he helps me and we have a good understanding off the pitch which helps on the pitch.’Speaking after the final training session, chief executive, Adriano Galliani said: ‘Lyon have dominated French football for the last five years and they have top players but so have we … It will be a great game as both sides like to play attacking football.’ Andriy Shevchenko talked about the importance of his partnership with Kak? and said: ‘I get on well with Kak?, both on and off the pitch. Hopefully we can turn on a good show tomorrow for the public and I am sure our fans present will help us.’ All pictures from the press conference can be viewed in the gallery. Don’t forget to watch Lyon VS Milan (19:30UK) tonight.

    Milan Win!

AC Milan reduced the gap to Juventus to eight points by overcoming ACF Fiorentina 3-1 at the San Siro while the Serie A leaders were pegged back by a late AS Roma equaliser in Turin.Carlo Ancelotti’s side were forced to come from behind against Fiorentina, however, as Italian international Luca Toni put the visitors in front in the 13th minute with his 25th league goal of the season. The lead lasted only seven minutes, however, as Ukrainian international striker Andriy Shevchenko responded for Milan – his 19th goal of the Serie A campaign.Milan, who travel to France to take on Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyonnais in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg on Wednesday evening, secured the points in the second half. Brazilian playmaker Kak? turned the game in the home side’s favour within three minutes of the restart and another Italian international, midfielder Gennardo Gattuso, secured the points with a third goal on the hour. [Source]Download Kaka’s goal Here. Photos have been added to the gallery. Kaka didn’t manage to do his trademark celebration(run-and-lift-both-hands-to-the-sky) but he did smile towards the sky!.

Kaka takes part in match, audio and more..

Kaka takes part in “Adidas Bring +10 to life”?match against Nesta’s teamRicardo Kak? and Sandro Nesta played alongside fans in a Italy against Brazil match. The match ended ended 4-2 for Kak?’s side (YAY). He said,??”Questa partita +10 is really great. It’s nice to play alongside these youngsters and it’s great for the fans to play alongside us”Then on to Milan: “We played well at Udine, it was entertaining for us. We are pleased to have scored 67 goals but we are coming to a decisive part of the Champions League and we also have to get as far as head of Inter before the derby on April 15. I am fortunate to play in a strong attack both for Brazil and Milan but I play more for Milan so my understanding with my team-mates is growing. We are a bit disappointed with the way the first half of the season went but that’s happened”. Here are the match photos. You can view other pictures, as well as Nesta’s team in the gallery. Also, listen to an audio interview with Kaka here (Thanks Jillian, again!). Last but not least, Milan player Kakha Kaladze has said that he thinks Kaka is better than twice named World Player of the Year, Ronaldinho!. “Kaka is better because he gives more for the team ; Ronaldinho plays more to create a spectacle” he said. Many will disagree with him, but he has a point

Kaka to help Olympics and More…

Kaka wants Ancelotti to stay/ looks up to Ronaldo.Kaka has expressed his desire for Ancelotti to remain at Milan in an interview he gave to Sky. “I have respect for him, he is a great trainer and it is my desire for him to stay with us”. He should be happy. AC Milan have just issued an official statement on their website saying that Ancelotti will be staying with them till 2008. Also, Kaka will be involved in the Special Olympics European Youth Games which will be taking place in Rome from  30 September to 5 October. He is quoted as saying “It will be something beautiful just being able to participate in this campaign. It is a large opportunity for us to provide some hope for the boys”. Kaka will be lending a hand together with the likes of Georgio and Emporio Armani and AC Milan President Adriano Galliani.  Ronaldinho acknowledges that success doesn’t come aloneOf Brazil’s young players, Ronaldinho is definitely the most experienced. The 26-year-old Barcelona star has reached the pinnacle of world soccer, having won back-to-back FIFA World Player of the Year awards. He has accomplished all this with a smile on his face, unlimited talent at his feet and a giant amount of motivation to write his name in World Cup history. In fact, the leader of the Sele??o will wear the No. 10 jersey in Germany, an honor that belonged to Pel? and was last worn by Rivaldo. The difference, explains Ronaldinho, is that those Brazilian legends “had to open the way to the goal by themselves — they were the lifesavers of the team. Now, with Kak?, Adriano and others by my side, the work becomes easier.”It’s nice to hear Ronaldinho say that.
