    Interview & Lame tensions

Kaka’s interview with Milan ChannelA video featuring Kaka talking to a reporter after the Milan-Lille match (English voice-over).Download it [here] or watch it above. Ancelotti plays down Kaka spat AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has denied that he has fallen out with Kaka after the Brazilian criticised his tactics. Milan were held to a goalless draw at Lille on Tuesday night in their second Champions League match of the season and Kaka felt that his manager had got the formation of the team all wrong.   He was forced to play behind just a single striker, Alberto Gilardino, in a 4-3-2-1 formation, and was unimpressed by Ancelotti’s decision to play him out of his favoured position – playing behind two front men. Kaka revealed to the press his tactical preference after the stalemate in France and the Italian media immediately tried to drive a wedge between the South American playmaker and his manager.  However Ancelotti has now come out to put an end to any rumours and says the pair are on excellent terms, although he urged all his players to think before speaking to the press. Tension…

RINAUDO: ?I would remove Kak??Siena defender Leandro Rinaudo spoke about Sunday?s game at the San Siro: ?We are going to face one the strongest teams in the world and we will give our all. At the moment we are doing well both in defence and as a team. If I had to choose, I would remove Kak?.? Ambrosini raps Kaka over Carletto row AC Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini has hit out at teammate Kaka over his criticism of coach Carlo Ancelotti’s tactics for Tuesday night’s 0-0 draw at Lille. “Ancelotti, with this formation, has helped us win the Champions League,” said Ambrosini. “Perhaps Kaka does not remember it because he was not here, but for me, personally, the Christmas tree appeals a lot. “And the draw against Lille is not a major setback.” WTF? Christmas tree?. FIFA 2007 GameRonaldinho, Kak?, Wayne Rooney, David Villa and Lukas Podolski are some of the players featured on EA’s new game offering – Fifa 2007. New technologies and an improved system of shots has been included inside the game to make the player feel like a ‘real trainer’. The game will be made available for Playstation 2 and many other platforms soon. Sources : Tribal Football, AC Milan, ABC Espana

    Milan/Lille

Kaka Unhappy With Ancelotti TacticsMilan playmaker Kaka was left frustrated by the tactics deployed by coach Carlo Ancelotti during the 0-0 Champions League draw with Lille on Tuesday night. The Brazilian and Clarence Seedorf were fielded in more advanced roles, with Alberto Gilardino up-front on his own, and Filippo Inzaghi left on the bench. “Personally I much prefer the tactic with two forwards, as that way I don?t have to hold on to the ball so much,” said Kaka. “When we play that style (with one striker) I always get marked very closely and by the end of the game I had no energy left to create anything. He added: “Some say I?m egotistical when I run with the ball and go for a one-on-one, but when you?re a forward then it?s necessary. With two strikers it?s easier for me to release the ball and get the whole team moving.”Kak? irked by French draw AC Milan star Kak? feels he and his team-mates ought to have come away from France with all three points after being held to a 0-0 draw by their tenacious Group H rivals LOSC Lille M?tropole. Missed chancesThe Brazilian put in a man of the match performance at the Stade F?lix-Bollaert, but was as guilty as anyone of spurning goalscoring chances – not least when he rounded Tony Sylva in the first half, only to drift wide and leave the Lille goalkeeper enough time to cover his near post. “I can’t be happy with this point because we missed a lot of opportunities that we should have put away,” he lamented. Tactical choicesWith Alberto Gilardino operating as a lone striker and Filippo Inzaghi surprisingly left on the bench, much of Milan’s attacking burden fell to Kak? and the 24-year-old believes those tactical choices contributed to the stalemate. He said: “I much prefer playing with two strikers rather than just one. When we play that style I always get marked very closely and by the end of the game I had no energy left to create anything.” Lille solidityLille will feel they fully deserved their share of the spoils, though, having carved out a number of good chances of their own, and Kak? was quick to praise Claude Puel’s youthful outfit. “I’m not surprised they proved to be so solid at the back because we knew all about them coming into the match,” he explained. “The very fact they’re playing in the UEFA Champions League proves they deserve to be taken seriously.”Qualification prospectsDespite the evening’s frustrations, Milan still have plenty of reasons to remain optimistic and their influential playmaker reckons their qualification prospects were aided by a 1-1 result in the group’s other encounter between RSC Anderlecht and AEK Athens FC. “That’s a good result for us,” he added. “It means we stay top and it will ease the pressure when we face those teams later in the competition.”* I sense Tension, but knowing Kaka, he’ll probably clear all this up tomorrow or in the coming few days. * Gallery has been updated with a few photos.

Milan VS Lille PreviewMilan will meet Lille in a Champions League encounter today/tomorrow morning (for some of you). Here’s a preview, and a link to the full article after that. Milan know that a win against the French team would open the doors for the next round following their 3-0 win over AEK Athens in the first matchday. However, Carlo Ancelotti believes that this will be a very delicate encounter, considering the fact they will be facing the second-best team from the group at home, where they have yet to concede a goal in the Champions League since last season.Read More Here Download 2 part InterviewSince many of you are enjoying the Speak English like Kaka video, you can now download the whole two part interview (courtesy of Chris M, thanks a lot!) below :  Part One > [Download]Part Two > [Download]Sources : Goal.com, AC Milan

    Milan/Livorno

Milan draw at LivornoPro-stretch shorts ftw!!!Penalised giants AC Milan drew 0-0 away to Livorno Saturday afternoon, ending a three-game winning run through which they had overcme a point-penalty received in a match-fixing trial.  Ricardo Oliveira, Milan’s new arrival from Spanish side Real Betis, on nine minutes had the first real chance in a rather dull first half, but had his shot saved with the feet by keeper Marco Amelia. A firmer but slightly high drive came 26 minutes from Kaka, one five Brazilian players donning the Devils red-black jersey. Livorno had a single chance in the first half through their hometown captain Cristiano Lucarelli, whose effort posed no threat for Dida. The Brazilian international seemed beaten on the hour but was saved by the bar when midfielder Stefano Morrone fired a smashing shot against the woodwork. Oliveira had a last chance with few minutes left when an Andrea Pirlo long ball set him free before Amelia, who managed a prodigious save on the Brazilian’s feet. The draw pushed Livorno on to five points from four games, level with promoted Atalanta and Tuscany minnows Empoli, who Sunday host nine-point leaders Palermo. Milan have two points despite the previous wins due to an eight-point penalty. Post-Match VideoKaka spoke to reporters after the match. Kaka-Ascoli

AC Milan fight past stubborn AscoliAw, sup broAC Milan managed to claim a tough 1-0 win over Ascoli at the San Siro in Serie A on Wednesday night. Marco Borriello could have given Milan the lead in the 18th minute with a nice shot if not for the goalpost of Gianluca Pagliuca, and the ex-Italy goalkeeper kept Filippo Inzaghi’s header out 10 minutes later. But Dida had to be on his toes to prevent Ascoli from taking the lead on the half-hour as Domenico Giampa’s header off of an Ervin Skela cross appeared headed for the bottom corner of the goal. The goalpost then saved Ascoli again in the 38th minute as Inzaghi found the woodwork and he fired wide just minutes later.Milan continued their pressure in the second half and were finally rewarded in the 68th minute as Andrea Pirlo’s cross was met by an accurate header from Marek Jankulovski that beat Pagliuca for a 1-0 lead.Despite having Milan control the flow of the match, Ascoli nearly snatched a point in injury time as Sasa Bjelanovic headed a Vasile Nastase free kick just narrowly wide of the goal.  Sweating is the way to goAncelotti and Kaka’s praise for one anotherCARLO ANCELOTTI: ?Kak? did really well?Ancelotti was interviewed on Sky after the game against Ascoli: ?Things went so-so in the first half, but we did better in the second half. In Italy the games are difficult, especially if no one scores. All of our actions were passed from Kak?, he did really well. I have a lot of affection for him. The turnover is inevitable for the moment. However, we are at +1, we couldn?t have done more than this but the road is long.?KAKA’: ?My relationship with Ancelotti is special?Kak? was interviewed by Sky after the game: ?I was very tired at the end, but we won once again. We were a little spread out in the first half, there wasn?t a man close. The relationship between me and the coach is special. It is also important that we eliminated the minus sign from the classifications.?I hate to say this man, but this has got to stop… they’re getting too gay for their own good. Haha!Misc* Gallery has been updated* New Wallpaper has been added, check it out!. Sources : Soccerway, AC Milan

    A win over Parma…

Milan win at ParmaMilan continued to claw back their points deficit in Serie A on Sunday with a 2-0 away win over Parma. Livorno won the first Tuscan derby of the season to keep Fiorentina rooted to the bottom of the table, and Palermo continued their recent good run of form with an away victory against Lazio.Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf fired Milan in front in the 24th minute with a superbly struck free-kick from 30 yards but Carlo Ancelotti’s side didn’t have things all their own way.Milan striker Alberto Giladino had to go off with a head injury and then in the 68th minute Croatian defender Dario Simic was at full stretch to clear an Andrea Gasbarroni effort off the line.Victory was secured for Milan in the 86th minute when Brazilian Kaka was brought down inside the area by Parma keeper Alfono De Lucia and got up to slot home the penalty.Milan began the season on minus eight points, imposed by the same sports tribunal, but their victory moves them to minus two.I got a hair cut today… and so did Kaka. LMAO, the same happened at the World Cup. It’s just an instinct ya’ll… Elsewhere…Before Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Real Sociedad, signs were seen at the Santiago Bernabeu declaring ‘Where is Kaka?’ and ‘Kaka, Robben and Cesc, unfulfilled promises’, but were later removed.Nice to know he’s mentioned in other parts of the world besides Milan.Updated Media* Download Kaka’s penalty goal against Parma [here].* The gallery has been updatedSources : Eurosport, Tribal Football

It’s from Soprt/Voetbal Magazine and was written primarily because Milan will meet Anderlecht in an upcoming Champions League fixture. Thanks Lala-Azanka Geyla and Afton.THE STAR: KAKA The perfect athlete, with a perfect biomechanical balance, concluded Milan lab after analyzing the test results of Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite, also called Kaka (24): he combines an optimum technique with the condition of a middle-long-distance-runner and has incredible recuperation ability. His supplety of his limbs allows him to do special moves. In addition he has an excellent vista: nobody can see a free teammate as fast as he does and moreover serves him like Kaka. When Kaka turned seven his parents send him to the youth school of football club Sao Paulo on advice of the teacher physical training.
