Kak?: There Are No Friendlies Milan superstar playmaker Kak? was in a good mood as he commented on his team’s friendly victory against Lecco, in which he impressed and also scored a goal.”Scoring and winning is always a pleasure”, the Brazilian said to Milan Channel. “Winning friendlies is also important, it’s good for the morale and our self-confidence. Besides, for me there are no friendlies, I try to play every game to my best, as if it were a final. “Until today we have had a good first part of the preparations, which we were not able to do last year; my condition is good, but there’s still a lot of room for improvement”.Last year Milan also played a friendly against Lecco, which they won 2-0; scoring twice as many goals this time could be a good omen for next season, as Kak? agreed: “Yes, let’s hope the trophies will double as well. Last year I couldn’t be here, this year I managed to play, I feel very good: it’s important to be with the team from the start, and take part in all the trainings.”Rui Costa Hails Kaka As His Successor The former Milan player believes that the Brazilian midfielder is his heir at the Rossoneri’s club, praising both his off and on the field attitude.”He’s my successor at Milan. Apart from being a nice person off and on the field, he’s an extraordinary player from the technical and physical profile, with a good vision of the game,” he said.”He has the desire to win and he’s already a champion of world level,” declared Rui Costa who is currently enjoying football in his homeland with Benfica.Video CompilationWatch this amazing new compilation by my friend and Kaka fan, MilanKakaBaros!Asian Fans of Kaka….If you are an Asian fan, you’ll be particularly interested in this picture!.ROFLLLLLLSOURCES : AC Milan, Goal.com, MilanKakaBaros

    Real Estate and MORE MONEY!

Kaka invests in Real Estate Market* Here’s an extended article from Easier Property UK about Kaka’s investment in a new apartment in Brazil. Kak?, voted world player of the year by The Times newspaper, Seria A player of the year, Copa American winner and Champions league winner with AC Milan, has remained loyal to his roots by purchasing an apartment in the prestigious Estrela do Atlantico development in Natal, NE Brazil. The real estate market in this region of Brazil is becoming one of the world’s hottest emerging destinations as a growing economy, low inflation, large amounts of foreign direct investment and rising tourism fuel demand. Kak? said “Natal, with certainty, is one of the prettiest cities in Brazil. It is an interesting part of our country and (has) the closest proximity to Europe. This chance appeared for Natal and I used it to my advantage and believe the tourist potential and capacity of yield the enterprise has to offer.” Estrela do Atlantico in which Kak? made his investment is centrally located within the city of Natal. The majority of apartments enjoy stunning views of Ponta Negra Beach and complex facilities include on site shops, cafes, tennis courts, swimming pool, gymnasium, spa, launderette, nursery, children’s play area and 24 hour security to name but a few. Investment in an average apartment starts at just £53,677 / €80,000. Kak? purchased his apartment in phase one of the development and now Obelisk International have released the second phase only weeks later due to high demand. Sao Paulo – In its latest effort to sign Brazilian football star Kaka, Real Madrid is set to make a 90-million-euro (123-million- dollar) offer to Milan, Brazilian Internet site GloboEsporte.com reported Friday quoting the player’s agent. Agent Diogo Kotscho confirmed the Spanish giant’s new offer and said he believed Milan would now agree to sell Kaka, GloboEsporte.com reported. “In my opinion this is an opportunity that Kaka must think about very carefully,” Kotscho said. Real Madrid officials “are in permanent contact with us and are only waiting for a signal from Milan, to travel to Milan and close the deal,” he added. The report said Real Madrid had offered 70 million euros (95 million dollars) for Kaka in June, in what would have been the most expensive transfer in football history. Kaka’s current contract with Milan expires in June 2011 and the Italian club has already offered to extend it, GloboEsporte said. * LOL, maybe Madrid’s bid for Kaka came at the wrong time. He doesn’t seem to want to move anywhere for now and Digao’s already in Milan. But what you and I would do with 90 million……SOURCES : Easier Property UK, Supersport

    Kaka, training

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY CAROLINE!Kakafans would like to take this opportunity to wish Caroline Celico a fantastic 20th birthday, full of surprises (lmfao) on Kaka’s part.Happy Birthday to the cutest football wife on earth. One that we respect and love!. Back at Training!AC Milan started preparations for the upcoming season with virtually the same team that won the cup in Athens on Monday. The training session took place in Carnago, Italy. Kaka was also spotted posing with the Champions League trophy as his teammates Nelson Dida of Brazil and Clarence Seedorf, looked on. FINALLY! A glimpse of Kaka after a long break… Kaka : I never asked to leave MilanBrazil playmaker Kaka said on Tuesday he was committed to AC Milan and had never asked for a transfer to Spanish champions Real Madrid. The European champions have spent most of the close season repelling Real’s advances for 25-year-old Kaka, one of the best players in the world.Milan said in June they were aware Kaka’s father had met Madrid officials. Kaka, who was rested from the Copa America at Milan’s request, has been back in Brazil and had stayed silent on the matter until now.”I have never demanded anything at Milan, I have never asked to renew my contract, to leave or to have a clause to rescind it like many have said,” Kaka told a news conference at Milan’s training ground. “There was a meeting with Real Madrid and Milan were the first to know about it.”Milan President Silvio Berlusconi reaffirmed on Monday that Kaka would not be sold.”The fans can stay calm, what president Berlusconi said yesterday is certain. I have a contract with Milan until 2011, the door for Real Madrid is closed and only Milan can reopen it if they decide to sell me,” Kaka said. “I see myself as a symbol of Milan.” * Other news : Kaka’s brother joins the Milan Squad [READ]* Problems*The server got hacked into a few days ago, and since then, things have gone haywire (including the news system we use to post updates). This post, along with the previous one came waaaay too late, and my apologies for that. Come August, we will have a new Fan of the Month and a preview of the new layout for you!. Kaka/Pele

Site TroublesSome of you may have had trouble accessing the site earlier today. There was something wrong with the news system, but we’re working on it!Kaka and RonaldoAt 0650 yesterday morning, both Ronaldo and Kaka arrived in Milan, after spending their off-season holiday at Sao Paolo. They will return to Milan’s training ground today to begin pre-season training.Pele : Kaka should stay at MilanKaka’s fellow Brazilian, the legendary Pele, has offered his views on the Kaka transfer saga, stating the playmaker should forget about Ream Madrid and stay true to AC Milan. In the midst of intense speculation, linking European giants Milan and Madrid with transfers of immense proportions, Pele has arrived on the scene to impart some of his eternal wisdom. This week has seen the rumours crack up a notch, with Madrid promising Kaka will either join now or next season for a reported £50 million, whilst Milan claim Ronaldinho shall travel in the opposite direction for a similar fee.Responding to these potentially record-breaking purchases, Pele drew on his own experiences in an attempt to offer some direction for Kaka should his mind be in turmoil, he said : “I played for 20 years at Santos and was always faithful even if I received lucrative offers from Real Madrid and Juventus,” in an interview with ‘Gazzetta dello Sport.’“I chose to stay where I had grown up, become a great, where the people loved me and I was happy. Money is not everything. That is a cliché, but it’s true “I don’t want to tell Kaka how he should behave, but just to look inside himself. He seems happy at Milan, so why should he change?”Pele was swift however to calm the furore around another Brazilian, the wonderkid Alexandre Pato, of whom Milan President Silvio Berlusconi is a big fan of and reportedly prepared to pay £20m to secure his future at the San Siro. Pele reminded the world of his precarious age and feels the lad should blossom for a year in Brazil before moving to Europe,“Pato is a good player, but not yet a champion. I think it is best to wait a little before bringing him to Europe. Look at Robinho and how long he took to show his quality for Real, because he was still a little green. It’s too early to say what player Pato will become. He has potential, though.”[**] LMFAO.. I remember having to transcribe an interview my friend did with Pele and I nearly fell asleep listening to him talk. PELE CAN GO ON FOR HOURS! Lol. SOURCES : GOAL.COM, AC MILAN

about kaka – I think he is very good . He's young and makes good things . He can playing very well . Love kaka

    • erwinio 5:15 pm on July 25, 2007 Permalink

hi, about Pato – I think he is good, I mean he seams to be worth in the future. He is good, but as Kaka always says about himself, he needs to improve, and in terms of Pato it is true, he must still work, but he is not bad. The only problem, I think, form Milan in this moment is the high of money requested for Pato. I think for this price they can make transfer of any more experienced and better known soccer then Pato. So I suppose, Pato will not come to Milan. Whos then??

    • Ricardina 4:31 pm on July 25, 2007 Permalink

Do you think that Pato will come in Milan? Do you hope? I hthink, that Pato is a very very good player and Mialn needs him, he's very young and makes good things. He can playing very well, and I hope that he will come in milan. And you? What do you think about him?

    FORCA BRASIL!

BRAZIL ARE COPA AMERICA CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!Julio Baptista scored in the fourth minute and Brazil went on to beat Argentina 3-0 to win the Copa America for the second consecutive time over its longtime South American rival. Roberto Ayala had an own-goal just before half-time and Dani Alves scored his first of the tournament in the 69th to secure Brazil’s eighth title in the South American championship. It was the second straight time Brazil and Argentina had met in the final, with Brazil prevailing three years ago on penalties in Peru. This time, Argentina was intent on reclaiming the crown and winning a record 15th title. It brought its full national team while Brazil arrived with a second-choice side after several of its regulars, like Ronaldinho and Kaka, asked to be excused. “Lots of people criticised our team, but we’re the champions,” said Brazilian striker Robinho, who finished as the tournament’s top scorer with six goals. It was the 10th meeting between the heavyweights of South America in the final, with Brazil winning for the just the second time.”Losing like this makes you angry, but there’s nothing more we can do but wait for another final,” Argentina’s Lionel Messi said. Others were even more sombre.”We’re totally ruined,” Esteban Cambiasso said. “Losing like this penetrates your soul.” GOALS, GOALS & MORE GOALSDOWNLOAD em here

    Kaka’s priority/new pics

Kaka : MY PRIORITY IS MILAN In an interview for the Brazilian media, superstar midfielder Kaka declared that he was sick of rumours linking him to Real Madrid, and that he was committed to AC Milan. The 25 year old insisted, “My priority is Milan. I have no plans whatsoever with Real Madrid and the rumours merely originated in Spain. My concern is to finish my vacation and then prepare for the new season with the Rossoneri.”The Brazilian spoke from his home country, where he is currently on vacation. Enjoying a break after pulling out of the Copa America squad, he is aware that some may hold him responsible should the Selecao fail to prevail against Argentina in the final. He offered a somewhat muted response to these suggestions. He said, “I already have so many responsibilities. It doesn’t appeal to me to have passive ones, too… Of course, Brazil-Argentina is a classic encounter but I believe that Brazil will win.”Kaka arrived at Milan from Sao Paolo in 2003 and since then has played 129 league games for the Rossoneri. He was the top scorer in last season’s Champions League, his ten strikes helping Milan on to a victorious final against Liverpool.[.] I think Kaka and AC Milan have been paying heed to the posts on Kakafans… everytime we post a rumour, they immediately rebutt the next day. And it’s been going on?for a while now. HA! New house?

Robinho Ends Madrid Kak? Hopes Robinho does not believe that Kak? has any chance of moving from AC Milan to Real Madrid, despite earlier making public calls for his compatriot to join him in Spain. The Brazilian starlet is currently one of the top performers in the Copa Am?rica in Venezuela, but has revealed that he talks to Kak? most days on the telephone.Kak? asked to be excluded from the competition in order to gain some much needed rest, but the pair have kept in constant contact.”He’s on holiday and calls me every day,” Robinho explained. (BFFS MUCH?) “I don’t think Milan are going to allow him to leave in order to join Real Madrid. They’ll do anything to keep him, even increase his salary.”He is playing well and enjoys himself. I think he will win the Ballon d’Or.”[*]PS : Even I don’t call my best friend everyday, lol!Kak?’s new house?Kaka arrived today to sign contracts with regards to the purchase of an apartment in the Rota do Sol region of Brazil, located near Ponta Negra. According to the Di?rio de Natal, he arrived with Caroline and his parents Bosco and Simone. He also attended an event organised exclusively by Bi&DI. It is believed Kaka has purchased the estate due to his interest in investing in them and acquiring the property for personal use. SOURCES : Goal.com, Di?rio de Natal

Sorry Milanika!! I rode bad the newspaper…but as the hotel of Mexico or the hotel of Chile? Sorry it wasn't good explained in the newspaper…

    • Milanika22 3:34 am on July 13, 2007 Permalink

Ricardina it wasn't Mexico; it is Chile. They got that punishment because in Copa America at the Hotel some incidents occured and they were involved.

Ash- I saw your comment and I had the same reaction, LOL! I don't call my best friends every day…However, on second thought, if Kaka would want to call me everyday that would be just fine by me. More than fine, actually!

    Copa /Kaka + site update!

Dunga Wary Of Difficult Uruguayans  Carlos Dunga, Brazil’s national team manager, anticipated that all matches between Brazil and Uruguay are difficult, and affirmed that Tuesday?s Copa America semi-final clash between the neighbouring countries isn’t likely to be any different.Brazil will have fond memories of when they eliminated Uruguay in the semi-finals of the 2004 Copa America after a penalty shoot-out, before going on to win the title against Argentina. In relation to the Brazil-Uruguay derby Dunga said it will be ?Very tough, very disputed, like all the matches [between these teams], this one won?t be any different?. Dunga stated that Uruguay is a very competitive team and made note about them playing a style of football that is mixed between being Brazilian and Argentinean.?Uruguay is a team that gives everything on the pitch and to beat them we have to be competitive, playing to the best of our ability and fighting all the way?, he said. Brazil and Uruguay have met 24 times in the competition before, with the Uruguayans having recorded nine victories to Brazil?s eight, and there have been seven draws.Dunga also commented on the history between the teams, that also met in the 1950 World Cup Final, that Uruguay went on to win 2-1 in Rio de Janeiro. ?Every match has its history. The match will be completely different for both teams, and every time you are closer to the final it gets more difficult, and we have to be prepared for this?, he concluded.Dunga captained Brazil as they lost the final of the Copa America against Uruguay in 1995 on penalty kicks in Montevideo.AC Milan chief Galliani: Real Madrid have dropped Kaka pursuitAC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed Real Madrid have officially dropped their pursuit of Kaka.Galliani, speaking on Milan Channel last night, revealed Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic had phoned him to make clear that they were “officially” dropping their interest in the Brazilian.Meanwhile, Galliani also revealed a new striker signing was close: “He could be Brazilian, but it’s not [Inter's] Adriano.” Site UpdatesThings have been moving noticeably slow on this site, with the close of the season and Kaka’s disappearance from the public eye. However, there will be a site revamp (with a red and black theme) coming soon as well as completely updated pages for easy submission of your works, pictures, graphics etc. Also, those of you who have access to Brazilian and Italian newspapers are welcome to send in news from these sources as well.If you want to be constantly updated at any second of the day, you can join our forum and livejournal community, which are two of the biggest portals for Kaka fans like yourself. Enjoy!.SOURCES : Goal.com, Tribal

Brazil won yesterday against Uruguay. The 90 minutes ended up 2-2. Then in penalty kicks the Uruguay's captain missed the penalty, leading Brazil to the final…Today Argentina and Mexico will decide who will be Brazilians' opponent…

Kaka’s New York dinner / Copa!

Ronaldo Reveals Kak? Desire (That’s Ronaldo btw)Ronaldo has revealed that Kak? ruled out a move away from AC Milan over dinner in the United States amid rumours that Real Madrid are preparing a bid.The Brazilian striker told reporters in Italy that his compatriot had committed his future to the European champions and was not going to move to Spain.Despite Milan’s insistence that Kak? is not for sale, rumours still continue to circulate that Madrid are trying to tempt him to the Bernab?u.”It seems to me to be impossible that Kaka? would go to Real Madrid,” Ronaldo said.”He does not need words of advice from anyone because he knows that he is at the best club in the world and that Milan have given him everything.”I had dinner with him a few days ago in New York and, although he did not talk about any offer from Madrid directly, he did say that he was going to stay to faithful to Milan.”Another report that Ronaldo always believes will not come true is the transfer of his friend Adriano from Inter to Milan.Brazil, Mexico reach next round at Copa AmericaMexico and Chile booked their spots in the Copa America quarter-finals after the two sides played out a tepid goalless draw on Wednesday. The result saw the Mexicans top Group B on seven points after victories over Brazil and Ecuador, while Chile?s four-point haul was good enough for them to also make the last eight. In the evening?s second game, Brazil edged Ecuador, 1-0, to earn a matchup with Chile in the quarter-finals. The result also eliminates the United States and Colombia, who meet on Thursday in their final Group C game. Neither side can overhaul Uruguay, which claimed the second-best third-place record thanks to the result. Mexico and Chile were booed off the pitch at the final whistle by the 35,000 fans packed into the Luis Ramos stadium after a game of few chances.Robinho scored Brazil?s only goal from the spot after 55 minutes as Dunga?s side eventually overcame their winless opponents in an entertaining game in Puerto La Cruz. Brazil had the better of the first half but it was Ecuador which threatened first. Ten minutes after the half-time break, Robinho opened the scoring when he was brought down in the box before dusting himself off to convert the resulting penalty. That seemed to deflate the Ecuadorians and they were unable to threaten the Brazilians for the rest of the encounter. Robinho was inches away from nodding in a second for Brazil from Wagner Love?s cross, as Ecuador were eliminated having conceded six goals in three games. SOURCES : Goal.com, AFP
