HIATUSFirst and foremost, my apologies to all for the lack of updates. I’ve been swamped with school projects and work, but we’re back now!. Also, if any of you have the latest Kaka materials i.e. pictures, news, feel free to e-mail them to us, so it makes the updating process faster. AWARD RECIPIENTAC Milan Brazilian star Kaka’, left, receives the ‘Sky Sport award’ from journalist and commentator Ilaria d’Amico, in Milan, Italy,Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007. Serie A Preview: Genoa-MilanGenoa have had a lively attack in the preseason run-up to the beginning of Serie A play, and having the two Copa Italia ties provided good competition ahead of the first official match against Milan. The additions of Marco Di Vaio, Marco Borriello and N’Diaye Papa Waigo will give them an edge over some opposing defenses. Milan have looked very sluggish in the preseason, with goal-scoring being a major problem. They cannot afford to begin last season in a scoring drought as they did last term, as the trio of Inter Milan, Roma and Juventus will all have more than enough firepower to light up the scoreboard. Many people believe Milan will struggle in this match, mostly because they will be without the backing of their supporters, due to the ban on ticket sales to the Rossoneri. Surely, the lack of red-and-black shirts in the stands will have a bit of influence, but the quality of Milan will come through, despite their struggles in the preseason. Of course, the attacking additions Genoa made will put a lot of pressure on the Milan rearguard, but the lack of understanding among the new players will be their undoing. That will end a streak of 28 consecutive road games for Brazil since October 2005, when it completed qualifying for the 2006 World Cup.“We already have an idea for the team we’ll use,” Brazil coach Dunga said. “But all players must remain alert and maintain their performance.”Brazil, the world’s top-ranked team, will play the United States on Sept. 9 in Chicago and Mexico three days later in Foxborough, Mass.SOURCES : Goal.com, AC Milan, SKY Sports
