Ancelotti wants a cynical AC MILAN!
According to coach Carlo Ancelotti, Milan lacked the right determination to close the match. Milan must learn to be more ruthless in front of goal. Certain games must be won at all costs.

Ricardo Kaka achieved an incredible sequence of awards in 2007. Today, the recognition of his talent continues.
Ronaldo inspires Milan to first home win in Italian league footballRonaldo was the inspiration as AC Milan ended their dismal winless home run with a 5-2 victory over Napoli on a dream night at the San Siro on Sunday.Ronaldo was playing only his second match of an injury-plagued season but scored a brace as he partnered debutant teenage sensation Pato in a new-look three-pronged Brazilian attack that included world player of the year Kaka. Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti finally got the firepower that has been missing from the team at home in the league this season, as Pato and Kaka also got their names on the scoresheet. In their previous seven matches – five draws and two defeats – Milan managed just three goals, they had doubled that tally 30 seconds into the second half against Napoli. Ronaldo gave the hosts the lead on the quarter hour, latching onto Andrea Pirlo’s clever through ball to fire home off goalkeeper Gennaro Iezzo’s legs.Milan were dominating but Napoli were dangerous on the counter-attack and soon levelled through Roberto Sosa, who converted fellow Argentine Ezequiel Lavezzi’s right wing cross. Ronaldo then tried to turn provider, twice teeing up Pato with just Iezzo to beat but the keeper denied him both times before Clarence Seedorf smashed home the follow-up. Maurizio Domizzi then levelled from the spot after Georgia centre-back Kakha Kaladze’s clumsy challenge on Lavezzi in the box, sending the teams in at half-time all square. But just after the restart Seedorf picked out Ronaldo to head home from close in.Kaka scored midway through the second half with a crisp shot from the edge of the box and minutes later Pato opened his account after racing clear and finally beating Iezzo in a one-on-one.Kaka quizzed over links with corrupt churchKaka, the Fifa World Player of the Year, has been asked by Brazilian authorities to explain his link with leaders of an evangelical church who have pleaded guilty to money smuggling, a news magazine reported.A judge wants to know what connection the Milan playmaker has to the Brazilian couple who were sentenced last year to nearly five months in prison after pleading guilty to smuggling more than $56,000 (£28,500) into the United States, the Carta Capital magazine reported. No accusations have been made against Kaka. Brazilian police say Estevam Hernandes Filho and Sonia Haddad Moraes Hernandes, founders of the Reborn in Christ Church – an evangelical church with hundreds of thousands of followers – have been using the faithful’s donations to buy mansions and horse farms in Brazil and the United States. The deeply religious Kaka has said previously he makes annual donations to the church, estimated by Carta Capital to reach about $1m. The judge, Marcelo Batlouni, sent a questionnaire to Kaka wanting to know the level of friendship he has with the Brazilian couple. Among the questions submitted to the Brazilian footballer is whether he used to visit the couple’s home and whether he knew they had been arrested. The questionnaire, sent in September, has not yet been answered by Kaka, according to Carta Capital.Kaka’s spokesman said the player never received the questionnaire or any other contact from authorities. “He has never received any request from Brazilian authorities,” said Diogo Kotscho, adding that the player should be respected and not judged because of his religious faith. Kaka in Dubai Here are more pictures of Kaka in Dubai, playing, attending conferences etc. Note that the first picture is of Yoann… who should be modeling part-time! Kaka Set To Miss Napoli Clash? Brazilian superstar Kaka could miss Sunday’s Serie A clash with Napoli after picking up an injury in training. The European and World Footballer of the Year was involved in a collision with Yoann Gourcuff on Monday, injuring his shoulder. The problem caused Kaka discomfort overnight and he has subsequently been forced to pull out of today’s friendly against the United Arab Emirates national side.If Kaka fails to recover in time for the weekend it will be a big blow for Coach Carlo Ancelotti, who was preparing to field the 25-year-old in a fearsome-looking trident attack with debutant Alexandre Pato and the fit-again Ronaldo. While Kaka is considered as a doubt, Ronaldo has had a sudden return to fitness and unless he picks up any problems in today’s match with the U.A.E, will play in only his second official match of the season against Napoli. The European Champions are desperate to pick up a win against the Partenopei as they are still yet to win at home in the league this campaign, drawing five, losing two, and scoring just three goals in their seven matches there so far.SOURCES : Goal.com, AC Milan
Kaka Doesn’t Want Ronaldinho At Milan – Report Kaka has told Milan that he is vehemently against the signing of Ronaldinho from Barcelona, according to a report in Barcelona based daily Sport.Ronaldinho is currently going through some troubled times at Barca, as he struggles to find the form that once made him the best player in the world. AC Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has long been an admirer of the 27-year-old and has admitted that he would jump at the chance to sign him if he became available. However Milan’s own superstar Kaka is not so keen and has told his club that he doesn’t want his compatriot at San Siro, claim Sport.Kaka believes that the two players cannot co-exist in the same team, as their style of play is too similar. This has, indeed, benn apparent when they have played for Brazil, with both often running into the same spaces and doing the same things – even though Ronaldinho has often been used in a more deep lying role. He is also worried that Ronaldinho’s personality and lifestyle may create problems in the dressing room.Large sections of the Italian press are of the belief that Milan will launch a firm effort in the summer to sign the former Paris Saint Germain man, however these plans may now be scrapped after Kaka revealed his opposition against the move.Kaka: We’re Not Afraid of Arsenal AC Milan playmaker Kaka insists his are not afraid of the English Premiership outfit. We don’t fear Arsenal. That’s the opinion of the Brazilian, who is currently with AC Milan in Dubai for winter training. He had met fans in an autograph session in Dubai on Sunday. The 25-year-old has brushed off suggestions that AC Milan will face a difficult challenge against Arsenal. Despite the Italian Serie A outfit lying in 12th place, he believes that the team’s victories against Manchester United and Liverpool in their Champions League campaign last season, showed that Milan are capable of taking on the best English clubs. He said: “We beat two other English teams last time and we won’t have problems with Arsenal.” After clinching the 2007 World Player of the Year award, Kaka acknowledged that there is more responsibility on him to perform at his best for Milan.Instead of resting on his laurels, he wants to perform even better when the Serie A resumes action. “Every year my responsibility to myself, my team and the fans grows greater,” Kaka added. “It’s up to me to fulfil my role in the team and for us to be positive and for us to achieve.”Kaka: I thought about quitting MilanWorld footballer of the year Kaka admitted in an interview to be published Tuesday that he thought about quitting AC Milan last season.Kaka was the inspiration behind Milan’s Champions League triumph in Athens in May, when two Filippo Inzaghi goals proved enough to beat Liverpool 2-1 in the final, but incredibly he has now admitted that he considered making that his last game for the club.”Did I think about leaving Milan? Only before the Champions League final in Athens, but not any more,” he told weekly magazine Guerin Sportivo. “One day I want to captain Milan.”Since that heady May day, Kaka has gone on to win three awards naming him the best player in the world – the Ballon d’Or, FIFPro world player of the year and World Soccer World Player of the Year.He also helped Milan win the Club World Cup Japan in December but he still has more ambitions to fulfill. “I want to play at the Olympic Games in Beijing: the Olympics is the only title Brazil has never won,” added Kaka.Kaka also gave warning to new star teenager Pato, of whom much is expected now that he has finally been cleared to begin his Milan career. “Is he the new Ronaldo, I think so. But there is a risk that the expectation will put too much pressure on him,” said Kaka.SOURCES : Goal.com, Agencies
Kaka, who was recently chosen as the best soccer player in the world during 2007, has threatened to sue a gay magazine if pictures of his counterpart are published and his name is used in the issue.Diogo Kotscho , the midfielder’s spokesman and agent, has confirmed that if G Magazine of Brazil – a magazine directed to the gay audience- does in fact publish nude images of Kaka’s impersonator and mentions the name of the soccer player in their January edition , legal actions will be taken.G Magazine intends on publishing images of model , Lucas Pugliessa, who looks very much like Kaka and is from Sao Jose do Rio Preto, Brazil. The edition was chosen due to the massive amount of letters received from readers that demanded pictures of the soccer star posing completely nude. The material is to be published in the upcoming February edition.
KAKA TO DISPLAY TROPHY AT CHURCHAC Milan midfielder Kaka has decided to share the FIFA World Player of the Year award with the people of his evangelic church. The 25-year-old handed the most important award of his career to the Igreja Apostolica Renascer, a neo-Pentecostal church founded in Sao Paulo in 1986 which has 1500 temples around Brazil. The Brasilia-born star spent the New Year celebrations in one of the temples and announced the trophy will be displayed there, on a specially-built stand.”I don’t win alone. I want to thank God for all the victories and achievements I had this year as a player,” said Kaka.”I bring here two awards – one is my son who is coming soon. The other is this FIFA trophy. I want to give it to God and place it in this church, in the House of God.”Some PicsAC Milan player Kaka’ signs a supporter’s jersey during the team’s winter training session, at the Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Thursday Jan. 3, 2008SOURCES : Sportinglife, AP
