    KAKA’S POST MATCH COMMENTS

Kaka usually does everything possible to shy away from controversy but even he couldn’t resist a dig at Jose Mourinho after AC Milan triumphed 1-0 in the Milan derby. The former Chelsea boss was adamant that his team deserved a point from the game and also took a swipe at Serie A leaders Lazio. He said:“I saw two teams tonight and neither one deserved a win more than the other,” before adding: “When I look at the table, with all due respect, I don’t look at Lazio, Napoli or Catania. I see that we are ahead of Roma, Juventus and Milan.”Kaka, whose compatriot and polar opposite Ronaldinho scored the winner with his first goal for the club, bit back by saying: “It’s true we scored the goal, but other than that I think we dominated the match and always tried to play attacking football. Mourinho makes me laugh, like when he said Dejan Stankovic’s foul was really me pretending to be injured as a tactical choice. It’s funny.”“It’s wonderful to see Ronaldinho so happy and determined to become a decisive player again. He is working so hard and is on his way back. We may make different lifestyle choices, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be friends and play together. I am very glad he’s here, as he has brought many things the team was missing.” – THE SPOILER

    MILAN WIN DERBY!

A superb header by Ronaldinho spurred AC Milan to a 1-0 over Inter Milan and hand the Serie A champions their first defeat under new coach Jose Mourinho. The Brazilian soared in the area and powerfully headed home a cross from his compatriot Kaka to settle the derby in the 37th minute. Inter had defender Nicolas Burdisso sent-off for a second yellow in the 77th and Marco Materazzi, who had been substituted, was also given a red card for dissent from the bench during the closing stages. Inter have ten points from five games, two behind surprise leaders Lazio, who won 3-1 at Torino earlier today.Milan have nine after recovering from a slow start with their third consecutive league win.Ronaldinho, in the starting line-up after being on the bench in Milan’s back-to-back league wins over Lazio and Reggina, had come close in the middle of the first half with a snap shot but Inter keeper Julio Cesar produced a fine reflex save. Milan also had a penalty appeal for a shove on Kaka in the area turned down.Milan looked the sharper side after the break and Mourinho tried to shake his men up by bringing on strikers Adriano and Julio Cruz. Chances opened up at both ends after Burdisso’s dismissal. Adriano wasted Inter’s best chance to equalise deep into stoppage-time, heading wide when unmarked at the far post.In Turin, Goran Pandev struck on the half hour to set Lazio on their way and Argentine forward Mauro Zarate netted twice in the second-half, including a late penalty, to wrap things up and take his goal tally to six.Torino, who finished the match with nine men after keeper Matteo Sereni was sent-off for fouling Cristian Brocchi to concede the penalty and Francesco Pratali went for a second yellow, pulled one back with a stoppage-time Nicola Amoruso penalty.Ronaldinho’s goal

    Kaka: We’ll Win The Derby

Milan star Kaka is looking forward to the Derby Della Madonnina on Sunday night and he has warned Inter that he is up for a fight as well as maximum points. The Rossoneri welcome the league leaders to San Siro and expectations are high. Kaka is looking forward to renewing old rivalries and he has spoken well of Inter. The Brazilian playmaker believes Zlatan Ibrahimovic has the potential to win the Golden Ball in future and he reveals Andriy Shevchenko is not a big fan of Jose Mourinho.Kaka is confident his side can emerge from the game with a win if they keep motivated throughout the 90 minutes.“The derby is different from any other game and it is difficult to explain,” Kaka told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.“At first it’s hard to understand and then you realise the expectations of the city. We have to win or it will be tough otherwise.“We have won three games on the bounce and to beat Inter will be nice. I think we can do it but we need to find the same motivations as we did against Reggina.“Mourinho? He knows how to manage the group and everyone I know who have worked with him in the past has spoken so highly of him, only Shevchenko hasn’t.“Ibra? He is a very important player and he is decisive. I think he will win the Golden Ball in a year or two but this year Cristiano Ronaldo deserves it for he did last season.”Kaka will be hoping to do the business against Mourinho’s men. Inter are beginning to pull away at the top of Serie A and they need to be stopped if the Rossoneri are to challenge for the Scudetto this term – GOAL.COMMORE NEWS1. KAKA BACK IN BRAZIL SQUAD

Ronaldinho was dropped and Kaka was added to Brazil’s squad on Thursday for next month’s World Cup qualifiers.Despite being a starter in recent matches, Ronaldinho was left out after several poor performances. However, his AC Milan teammate Kaka has recovered from a knee injury which made him unavailable for this month’s qualifiers, a 3-0 win over Chile, and scoreless draw with Bolivia.Robinho, Alexandre Pato and Anderson also were among the 22 players summoned by coach Dunga to play Venezuela in San Cristobal on Oct. 12 and Colombia in Rio de Janeiro three days later.Inter Milan’s Mancini received his first callup in two years.Werder Bremen’s Diego was left out because of a suspension due to yellow cards.Brazil was second in South American qualifying after leader Paraguay, but Dunga has been under immense pressure from local media and fans after the feeble 0-0 home draw against last-place Bolivia on Sept. 10.Even though Brazil has won the majority of its matches since Dunga took over as coach following the 2006 World Cup, a string of disappointing results earlier this year started calls for him to be replaced by someone with more experience . – Canadian PressRoster:Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar (Inter Milan), Doni (AS Roma).Defenders: Maicon (Inter Milan), Daniel Alves (FC Barcelona), Kleber (Santos), Lucio (Bayern Munich), Alex (Chelsea), Juan (AS Roma), Thiago Silva (Fluminense), Juan Maldonado (Flamengo).Midfielders: Elano (Manchester City), Gilberto Silva (Panathinaikos), Josue (Wolfsburg), Anderson (Manchester United), Lucas (Liverpool), Julio Baptista (AS Roma), Mancini (Inter Milan), Kaka (AC Milan).Forwards: Luis Fabiano (Sevilla), Alexandre Pato (AC Milan), Robinho (Manchester City), Jo (Manchester City).

Super Pato The Hero For Milan

Alexandre Pato was the hero for Milan, scoring a 73rd minute winner as the Rossoneri made it two Serie A wins on the spin with a 2-1 victory over Reggina in Calabria.Reggina came into this game with just one point to their name in Serie A and, after Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Roma, were second-from-bottom in the table. The Amaranti had a number of injuries to deal with as Francesco Cozza, Antonio Giosa, Emmanuel Cascione and Carlos Valdez were all unavailable. Nevio Orlandi employed a cautious 3-5-1-1 formation with Franco Brienza supporting lone frontman Bernardo Corradi.Milan were looking to make it two wins on the bounce in the league after they had finally broken their duck on Sunday evening by thrashing Lazio 4-1. Alessandro Nesta, Andrea Pirlo. Philippe Senderos, Tabare Viudez and Pippo Inzaghi all sat out the game. Marco Borriello kept his place up-front alongside Alexandre Pato, supported by Kaka. Paolo Maldini and Massimo Ambrosini were both rested, while Mathieu Flamini returned.Milan made a bright start, and Kaka had the first attempt of the game in the fifth minute as he cut in from the left, but dragged the ball wide from 25 yards.Reggina responded with a Carlos Carmona effort, a daisycutter of a free kick from long distance which was smothered by Christian Abbiati. The home side started to threaten more and more. A cross from the left into the area almost found Corradi’s head, while on 17 minutes Brienza rattled in a shot from the edge of the area that finished only a yard wide of the post.Milan were struggling to create anything, but on their first chance of the match on 23 minutes they took the lead. Clarence Seedorf whipped in a free kick from the right, and Borriello lost his man to bullet in a header past Andrea Campagnolo. This boosted the Rossoneri’s confidence, and on the half-hour mark they should have been two-up. Kaka burst past two men, allowing Borriello a clean run on goal, but he was denied by Campagnolo as he tried to round the goalkeeper.Milan were now on top, but on 38 minutes they could have conceded an equaliser as Daniele Bonera defended a cross terribly, allowing Corradi a good chance at the back post, but Abbiati came to the rescue by closing down the veteran striker. Santos also fired well wide from long range. Both sides then had two long range efforts in quick succession. First Seedorf tested Campagnolo, before Emil Hallfredsson tried his luck from 30 yards with a powerful left footed shot that Abbiati collected at the second attempt.(Click read more for in depth match report)

    Marvellous Milan Crush Lazio

Milan 4-1 LazioKaka and Gianluca Zambrotta both scored stunning long-range goals as Milan got off the mark in Serie A with a crushing 4-1 win over Lazio at San Siro. Milan came into this game knowing that they simply had to win otherwise they would fall six points or more behind Scudetto rivals Inter and Juventus. The Rossoneri, who were on zero points, were without the injured Alessandro Nesta, Pippo Inzaghi, Tabare Viudez, Andrea Pirlo, and Philippe Senderos. Coach Carlo Ancelotti employed a 4-1-3-2 formation with Kaka supporting front pairing Alexandre Pato and Marco Borriello. Rino Gattuso returned in midfield following his recent injury layoff. It was an entertaining game and Milan immediately threatened to regain their lead as Pato cut inside his man from the right, and brought out a smart stop from Carrizo. Kaka then floated an inviting ball to the back post, and Borriello was close to getting his head to the ball.Kaka burst into life on 31 minutes with a superb solo run past a number of defenders, but he couldn’t find the finish and sliced the ball wide from the left angle.A few minutes later Milan were back ahead courtesy of a contender for goal of the season. Zambrotta bombed forward and let fly from way out on the right, at least 35 yards, and the ball arrowed into the far top corner like a ballistic missile. It was a simply incredible strike from the Italy international.Milan now went looking for the third, and on 40 minutes Kaka exchanged passed with Borriello before thrashing the ball a couple of feet over from the edge of the area.Into the second half and Lazio started strongly. Mauri was almost through on goal immediately, but he miscontrolled the ball and the danger passed. Zarate then curled a free kick over the bar. However, it was Milan who extended their lead on 49 minutes. Jankulovski crossed from the left, and Pato darted in front of Rozenhal at the near post to head home.Moments later Kaka did indeed get his goal, and it was well worth waiting for. The Brazilian picked the ball up 30 yards out and fired an unstoppable shot into the top corner. Milan were now turning on the style! It had been emphatic win for Milan, who answered their critics in the prefect way, and grabbed their first three points of the Serie A season at the third attempt.:smile:Source : GOAL.comGoals and Highlights :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiH7OSnWuLs

Kaka: AC Milan playing on auto-pilot

Kaka admits AC Milan have been playing on “auto-pilot” since the start of the season.“We have to adjust a few things. This is what happened to Milan: we thought that we could just go out there, play and win on auto-pilot,” he told Il Giornale.“That’s just not the case. In certain moments you need to suffer, make sacrifices and fight for results.“We lost sight of our defects and consoled ourselves with our virtues. Now we must rediscover our identity by aiming for precise objectives.”The arrival of Ronaldinho and Andriy Shevchenko has forced a tactical reshuffle and Carlo Ancelotti has not yet settled on a system.“I am ready to play as a support striker or trequartista, it is not a problem. I will only say that I don’t want to play with my back to goal, as that destroys all my characteristics,” continued Kaka.“The squad is right behind Ancelotti, not out of habit but because we have faith in him. In a hundred other moments like this he always managed to get us out of that tunnel and lead us towards success.“You can tell he is disappointed, but optimistic. Above all he is relaxed and never speaks out of turn.” – Tribal Football

Kaka: I Like Mourinho, Ronaldo For Golden Ball

Milan star Kaka has revealed his penchant for Inter coach Jose Mourinho and he admits Cristiano Ronaldo deserves the Golden Ball. The Brazilian has had a turbulent few months as he was hampered with injury but he has made his return. The playmaker has spoken of all things calcio, including his and Milan’s recent woes. Kaka has also revealed that he has taken to Jose Mourinho’s humorous style.“I like Mourinho a lot. I think his comments are hilarious and they always fill up the papers but they are never mean, they are funny,” Kaka told Il Giornale.“He is a great person and I like him and I think he is a great coach.“Me? It has been difficult recently because of injury and I missed the Olympics, World Cup qualifiers as well as some of the new season with Milan. It wasn’t easy but it’s ok.“Our early form hasn’t been good but we need to change a few things. We have to make some sacrifices and fight to get back to our best.“We seemed to have lost awareness when making mistakes but we have to find our identity again.”The midfield magician also had a few words on Ronaldinho, and on Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.“The best transfer? I think it was Ronaldinho. A lot of Italians wanted him in Serie A because he is great and to watch his skills,” added Kaka.“If I was to choose a winner for the Golden Ball it would be Cristiano Ronaldo.
