    KAKA ENSURES ANOTHER AC WIN

BOOKMARK or ADD KAKAFANS on TWITTER now! We are working on something new for you so stay updated!AC Milan held off a resilient Siena to notch their fourth consecutive league victory on Wednesday night.Filippo Inzaghi put the home side in front in the 31st minute before Simone Vergassola levelled matters shortly after the interval. But Kaka ensured the Rossoneri claimed all the points firing from the spot in the 65th minute after Inzaghi had been held inside the area by Daniele Portanova. The outcome saw Carlo Ancelotti’s side climb to third in the standings, one point behind joint Serie A leaders Udinese and Napoli. Siena, who were left three points clear of the drop zone, were unlucky not to come away with something from the match as they put in a battling performance.Ancelotti made changes to the team that narrowly beat Atalanta in Bergamo on Sunday, with Alexandre Pato and Inzaghi replacing Ronaldinho and Marco Borriello up front. The visitors started strong and sent a warning when Cristiano Del Grosso’s curled free-kick went inches wide of goalkeeper Christian Abbiati’s near post. Midway through the first half Milan should have taken the lead, when Pato’s powerful header from Clarence Seedorf’s corner beat goalkeeper Emanuele Manitta but rebounded off the far post. The Rossoneri continued to surge forward and their efforts were soon rewarded. Gennaro Gattuso served a fantastic assist to Inzaghi, who beat the off-side trap and struck a right-footed volley past Manitta.Milan should have doubled their lead shortly after. Pato was outnumbered three-to-one by Siena defenders on the edge of the area. But somehow the young Brazilian striker managed to muscle his markers out of the way before firing towards the near post only for his effort to be parried away by the keeper. At the other end, Kharja tried his luck from the distance and his stinging drive went wide of Abbiati’s far post. The visitors showed more determination after the restart and Abbiati did well to clear Lukas Jarolim’s close-range header in what looked like being the Tuscans’ first of the evening.Siena continued to push forward and finally found the net in the 53rd minute.Milan’s defence failed to clear Mario Frick’s cross and Vergassola took advantage, surging inside the area before firing past Abbiati to silence the crowd at the San Siro. Stunned, the hosts reacted. On the hour mark, Pato chested down the ball before firing wide from the edge of the area. Shortly after, the referee pointed to the penalty spot and Kaka coolly struck towards the right post where Manitta could not reach. But the visitors didn’t give up and Abbiati had to fully stretch to clear Daniele Galloppa’s effort from the distance.Milan almost killed the game off in the 79th minute but Vergassola did well to make a goalline clearance from Gattuso’s header with Manitta already beaten.Paul Codrea could have rescued a point for Siena with four minutes remaining but his free-kick went inches wide off Abbiati’s far post as Milan held on for the win. – SPORTINGLIFEHighlights

    KAKA’S GOAL SEALS ATLANTA-MILAN WIN

A goal to Kaka for AC Milan just 10 minutes from time, proved to be enough for the Rossoneri to record a less than convincing 1-0 victory in Bergamo today. The visitors got the play underway at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri D’Italia, and looked confident from the onset, as they attempted to create something from the first play of the match. After just two minutes however, it was the home side that conjured up the first chance on goal, as Cristiano Doni’s header from all of six yards, was hit straight at Christian Abbiati in goals for AC Milan. It was a wonderful build up play that certainly deserved a better finish. The Bergamaschi began to take full control of the play from here, as Milan failed to adjust to the home side’s attacking style of play. The home crowd were on the edge of their seats, as Floccari was played through one on one with Abbiati, however the keeper managed to get their first, and thankfully for the visitors, the score remained scoreless.Just one minute later, Kaka put Borriello through on goals, and the Italian made no mistake, to give his side the lead. Unfortunately for their sake though, the linesman’s flag was quickly raised, as the Italian international was well offside. [READ FULL MATCH REPORT HERE]

UEFA Cup: Milan beats Heerenveen 3-1

AC Milan was beyond SC Heerenveen’s reach by midway through the first half as it outclassed the Dutch host 3-1 in UEFA Cup Group E on Thursday.Even with stars such as Ronaldinho, Clarence Seedorf and Paulo Maldini on the bench, AC Milan was too powerful. Filippo Inzaghi initially was credited with the first goal after Kaka’s 19th-minute left cross was turned in. However, it was later ruled an own goal by defender Calvin Jong-A-Pin.Kaka was the provider again four minutes later when Gennaro Gattuso drove the Brazilian’s perfectly weighted pass just inside the post from close range in the 23rd minute.Inzaghi made sure his name was on the score sheet in the 69th minute, running onto a through ball from Gattuso and lifting it over goalkeeper Brian Vandenbussche. Milan’s defense was rarely troubled and when Gerard Sibon’s quick pass split the defense to find an unmarked Paulo Henrique in the 65th, the Brazilian striker shot wildly over the bar.Heerenveen got a consolation goal with five minutes left when Paulo Henrique was fouled by Giuseppe Favalli to earn a penalty that Danijel Pranjic scored in style with a delicate chip into the middle of the goal after Dida dived to his right. – APP/S : Seriously, you guys want Becks at Milan?

Kaka Always Makes The Difference – Maldini

VOTE NOW!Do you want David Beckham to play for AC Milan?NO YES I DON’T CARE   MILAN legend Paolo Maldini insists Kaka is the one who makes the difference at the club after the playmaker came onto to ensure his side beat Sampdoria on Sunday. The Rossoneri beat the Blucerchiati 3-0 thanks largely to Kaka’s magical moments on the pitch. Maldini has hailed the Brazilian and he believes he makes the real difference for the team week in, week out.”We won because of Kaka’s introduction into the fray. He came on and made the difference. He is a fundamental player for us.” said Maldini. “It was a great win for us in terms of the league even though we had problems at the start of the game. “The captain is now looking forward to the game against Heerenveen in the UEFA Cup on Thursday night.”I have heard they are a very fast team,” added the Italian.”Heerenveen are good, especially at home and so we will need to be careful. There are still a few days to go and so we have time to recover for the game. We have to go to Holland to win because there are many games to play in this competition.”Il Diavolo are now just three points behind league leaders Inter. Kaka is likely to start against Heerenveen as the Rossoneri attempt to conquer Europe. – GOAL.com

Kaka: Villa Is In The Top Five For Balon D’Or

PREVIOUS winner of the Balon D’Or Kaka has today revealed that he thinks Spain and Valencia striker David Villa is in the top five candidates for the prestigious trophy. As December rolls around, so do the Balon D’Or nominations with everyone eager to have their say.Brazilian playmaker Kaka looks out of the running for the prize this year after an injury hit season but he has today said that he believes David Villa is in the top five candidates.”I believe that Villa is a great striker, for me he is one of the top five candidates for the Balon D’Or. He has had a great season with Spain and in spite of the poor league form at Valencia.”"He was central to Spain winning the European Championships. The national team has played great football and has shown some great individual talents, one of which is David Villa,” said the AC Milan midfielder.Indeed, Villa has been in sparkling form for club and country and currently leads the way in the Pichichi in Spain after grabbing two more goals at the weekend for Valencia. Speaking about El Guaje Kaka has nothing but praise for the striker and his various attributes.”He is a good striker, strong and fast. A complete scorer that can do it also out of Spain. I am sure that with him Valencia will be big again,” he gushed. – GOAL.com

MILAN WIN & KAKA AND PATO’S HAIRCUTS

RONALDINHO struck twice and Filippo Inzaghi was also on target as AC Milan beat 10-man Sampdoria 3-0 at the San Siro on Sunday. The Brazilian stepped up to convert a 55th-minute penalty conceded for handball by Sampdoria defender Stefano Lucchini, who was sent off, and he doubled the lead 11 minutes later after some nice interplay with his compatriot Kaka down the left.Inzaghi dodged past keeper Luca Castellazzi to slip the ball home in stoppage time and make sure Samp stayed without a league win. Milan are one point behind the trio, as are champions Inter Milan, who can go two points clear if they win at struggling AS Roma in Sunday’s late game.AND THE HAIRCUTS… WE SAY : Both of them have become new BFFS. Proof of this : they stay in the same suite, are always seen together at training, love to go on YouTube and now, they’ve chopped off their curly locks in the same weekend!

Ancelotti Very Good At Managing Group – Kaka

UPON his return from international duty in South America, Brazilian superstar Kaka has praised the managing abilities of AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti.Kaka has just returned from World Cup qualifying with Brazil, who were pitted against both Venezuela, whom they easily accounted for by a 4-0 scoreline, and Colombia, with that match ending in a disappointing goalless draw. The attacking midfielder continued his brilliant run of form, scoring the first goal in the demolition of Venezuela and simply performing consistently throughout. He also gave his thoughts on his side’s Serie A clash with a struggling Sampdoria side this weekend, and the ways in which his boss, Carlo Ancelotti, will go about ensuring that he has the strongest and fittest eleven players on the park.“If Mr. Ancelotti did not give us all a bit of rest from time to time, then we would be a tired, unfit and poorly unified group.” He went on to add that, “Ancelotti is very good at managing these kinds of issues,” in an interview he had with Sky Sports.“Ancelotti has a strong squad at his disposal, made up of many champions, and so in addition to being a good coach tactically, he must know how to correctly handle and deal with the players.”Kaka continued to praise his boss by saying that, “everyone needs a leader, and it is vital to have a voice of command so you no what to follow. Carlo’s leadership makes our team stronger and his presence gives us the confidence to do our best.”The Brazilian maestro closed by discussing his passion and his role for the Rossoneri, by claiming that, “two years of playing as a striker has been great, and I am enjoying myself in this team. I am willing to make sacrifices for the team and for the shirt, and it is a team that I never want to leave.”Kaka has rejected offers from European giants Real Madrid and Chelsea in the past, and so these comments will undoubtedly further strengthen his desire to remain at the club for the remainder of his playing days.Milan host Sampdoria at the San Siro this weekend, and it is unknown whether or not Kaka will take any part in the match. However, if he were t do so, expect it to be only a brief cameo in the second half. – GOAL.com
