    “You can’t build success just because of money. You look at Kaka and think, ‘okay, if he had gone maybe it would take three or four years for Manchester City to get in the Champions League. That would make him 30.’

    “I read also about his wages but it does not matter. Do you think players like Kaka need the money? No, of course not. Manchester City will only attract players like that by winning trophies not by wages.

    “I am not surprised Kaka didn’t go. He is maybe the best player in the world and I consider myself the best goalkeeper in the world — that is why I would not go. I can’t wait until I am 35 to play Champions League football again. If you think next summer they will have Kaka, Messi and players like that in their team then you are wrong. I guarantee that won’t be the case.”

    KAKA – INJURY UPDATE 

    Calciomercato reported that Kaka has took part in AC Milan’s final training session yesterday, ahead of Sunday’s game against Cagliari.

    The Brazilian suffered a foot injury in the 1-1 draw with Reggina just under a fortnight ago, causing him to miss his country’s friendly match with Italy, the Milan derby, and the first-leg against Werder Bremen in the UEFA Cup on Wednesday.

    The 26-year-old was able to complete the first half of the training session led by coach Carlo Ancelotti before undergoing specific exercises in the gym.

    The most recent reports from the peninsula have the player listed as questionable to play on Sunday against Cagliari. It is more likely that the Rossoneri will give Kaka the extra rest to ensure his complete recovery ahead of the second-leg against Werder Bremen, which takes place this coming Thursday. Therefore, Ronaldinho and Clarence Seedorf are likely to get the nod once again in support of teenage striker Alexandre Pato in the starting XI. [GOAL]

    AC Milan have announced that Kaka is out of the UEFA Cup game against Werder Bremen this Thursday.

    At the moment, Kaká is working on recovering from his sprained left ankle and was not included in Ancelotti’s squad that will be travelling to Germany for the match.

    MILAN LOSE DERBY 

    Most of you who watched the 2-1 Milan loss to Inter last night would’ve seen Kaka sitting in the stands with Leonardo.

    Well, it was a miserable game for Milan. Kaka’s absence did impact the game flow, so we hope to see him next week.

      hi i saw the game inter vs milan….and i really must say milan played without any strategy….and in my opinion inzaghi had soooooooo much chances to let milan win this derby but he he didn´t use them…like i said without kaka its impossible to win so special games…he´s their heart and head….so sad….but what can we do now….we have to be optimistic ppl!!!forza milan….and kaka milan´s talisman…milan´s driving force…. :-*

      Hey adriano’s goal was wrong.and it was apenalty for Milan.the result is1-1and with penalty2-1.icried after inter’s goal and between the halfes.i coud’nt stop myself.milan was badluck and inter really LUCKY. :(

      hey milan did’nt lose it.adriano’s goal was’nt right and the arbiter had to not to accept it.it was apenalty for milan.in fact,the result is 1-1 without our penalty and 2-1 with penalty.milan was really badluck last night,and inter LUCKY!i have cried after inter’s 1st goal until the beginnig of the 2nd half.i even dreamed about the game.i was screaming to morinho.it was a really bad night.:(

      Ok,I saw the derby and I have to admit that Inter deserved to win..Milan without Kaka’ is nothing…And Kaka’ was watching the game but I saw him leaving after the second goal against Milan…The only one who fought for Milan was Inghagi…And he didn’t have the chance to play a lot…Also,I cannot ignore Inter’s 1st goal with Adriano’s hand…I hope Kaka’ will be back soon for Milan’s game on Wendesday with Werder Bremen…

    Kaka attended a Gillette event earlier this week where he met Mauro, who is Brazil’s best beach soccer player of 2007. AC Milan has confirmed that he will not be playing in tomorrow’s derby against Inter.

    OFFICIAL : KAKA OUT OF ITALY FRIENDLY 

    ANNOUNCEMENT


    The Brazilian Football Federation’s medical doctor has made an assessment and confirmed this afternoon that Kaka will not feature in the Brazil-Italy friendly slated to take place this Tuesday in London.

    Kaka suffered an ankle sprain after yesterday’s 1-1 draw against Reggina. He was examined by Milan doctors today but does not have any fractures. He is expected to be away from the field for at least 15 days. This means that he will not play against Inter as well.

    Dr. José Luís Runco, the Brazilian team’s official doctor said : “Kaka is being assessed by Milan to get a precise diagnosis on the injury and using a pair of crutches to prevent any further (force to the) foot. Of course, he will not be able to participate (in the game). The player has already spoken to us and bringing him here (to London) would be unnecessary. Of course (we were) upset by the news.”

    Kakà injured:out 15 days

    During the match Milan-Reggina Kakà was substituted because he felt pain to the left foot.After medical visit, today A.C. Milan confirmed the stop of Brazilian player for 15 days because of a distortion to the left foot.

    This is a bad news for the team who hoped to have Kakà for the next match which is Inter-Milan(derby of the city of Milan).
    In the past, Kakà was always fundamental for this important match (he was often the match winner/man of the match) because he scored or he did important assists. On Sunday AC Milan will try to do its best to have the 3 important points to reach Inter.

    It’s very difficult to give up the best player in the world for this kind of match:without Kakà will be more complicated, but not impossible because AC Milan rarely failes the important matches!!We hope so!!!

    Kakà also won’t play on Tuesday the international match Brazil-Italy, the UEFA Cup match against Werder Bremen and the match against Cagliari.

    We hope for Kakà to recover as soon as possible because AC Milan needs its best player and its leader.
