    Kaka in Physiotherapy

    ALL PHOTOS by R.Ribeiro

Kaka has been training intensively in Porto Alegre. After lunch on Sunday, he headed back to his room to rest. At 6PM, he tuned in to the Ecuador-Brazil game shown ‘live’ on TV.  He will continue to work intensively throughout the next few days as the team resumes training.

Dunga will hold a press conference later today (usually followed by afternoon training) and we will keep you updated about Kaka right here. You can also follow us at Futbolita.

I found this link to a Footvolley flash game where you can play as Kaka, virtually!

Kaka has arrived in Porto Alegre as we reported yesterday to focus on his physiotherapy and exercises on the field.

“The goal is to ensure that Kaka is fully recovered and ready to be released to attend the game on Wednesday at the Beira-Rio, against Peru,” our source tells us. With the fitness Coach Fabio Mahseredjian, Kaka worked on his jumping, agility and endurance skills. Kaká has also been training intensively through the morning, afternoon till the end of the night.

We will continue to update you on his progress once we receive word about it!

    KAKA STAYS BEHIND

    019885843-ex00

UPDATE : Kaka did not travel with the Brazil squad to Ecuador due to a contusion in his left foot (a contusion is caused when blood vessels are damaged or broken as the result of a blow to the skin). Instead, Kaka travelled directly to Porto Alegre – where Brazil will face Peru next Wednesday.

He will continue physical therapy and work on his fitness today and tomorrow with physical coach, Fabio Mahseredjian.

On a lighter note, Kaka fan, Bianca Fraga, 16, spent two hours at the Salgado Filho Airport waiting for him – and she got his autograph and a photo. “He was very nice! He talked to me and gave me an autograph. Now I want to go to Italy,” Bianca said.

In the photo below, Raquel Patel also welcomed Kaka at the airport!

    Kaka Training Update

    019805112-ex00

So Kaka and Adriano continued their muscular exercises yesterday. He worked out in the company of a field assistant for 30 minutes and felt no pain in his left foot. However, he still remains in doubt for Sunday’s game against Ecuador.

“I trained well and did not feel pain. But I expect to see the reaction of my body and I’ll have to see if I feel (any) muscle pain. I have gone a long time without training. We must speak with the medical department,” Kaka said.

Today, Kaka will be expected to continue training with the squad. However, he may be given time to recover in time for the Peru game in Porto Alegre on Wednesday.

    Kaka speaks about Injury

    FBL-WC2010-BRAZIL-KAKA-ROBINHO-PRESS

Both Kaka and Robinho attended a press conference yesterday and Kaka fielded many questions about his current predicament. He is currently going through muscular exercises and physiotherapy with the Brazilian national team doctor. In addition, he’s been working harder than the other players trying to get fit to feature in Sunday’s game. He even watched a football game from the medical centre! So far, his progress has been good.

“It depends on the type of pain. There is a limit. For a player it is very difficult to enter the field (with pain). In 2006’s game against France, I felt (some) pain in the knee when I was playing. I regretted a bit and decided not do it again. If I have any limits, I will not play,” he said recalling Brazil’s elimination in the hands of France three years ago.

“I come back from an injury that left me out (of the games of Milan) for five weeks. I (underwent) some physical therapy and (was) back in the game against Siena. I played 25 minutes. I reported the situation to the doctors and they decided to let me stop. I’m better, I feel a change, but the program is that I will train with the ball, step by step.”

    Kaka in Brazil

    chgranja_120434

Kaka is now in Brazil with the rest of the Brazilian squad for the World Cup Qualifiers (you can follow all the updates at Futbolita).

Brazilian team doctor, Jose Luis Runco, accompanied him to a CT Scan in Rio yesterday. However, Dunga believes that Kaka will be able to play at least 45 minutes of the game against Ecuador.

“We will work with the optimistic position that he will play. If not, we will work with the options we have in the team. We expect to see how he behaves this week. Clearly, he will not be 100% ready physically. But surely he can take part,” said Dunga.

    ITALY SOCCER SERIE A

Milan drew 0-0 at Napoli yesterday [READ MORE].

Galliani also touched upon Kaka’s absence from the squad on Sunday, explaining that the Brazilian superstar was unwell and needed to rest up before heading off on international duty.

“Kaká is not feeling well, he still has some pain. Now he will go to the national team, and in the meantime we will try to recover some players,” he said.

Galliani: Kaka Back For Napoli Clash

    SOCCER-AC MILAN/

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has spoken of his delight at having Kaka back in contention for the game against Napoli on Sunday.

The Brazilian has shaken off a knock he picked up against Siena last week, and he is likely to start on the bench for his side tomorrow night. The news of Kaka’s recovery has brought a smile to Galliani’s face as he eyes a positive result from his men at the San Paolo.

“I am extremely happy that Kaka is back. He will be on the bench, but he is ready to play,” Galliani told Milan Channel.

“We can field a competitive side against Napoli, even though there are still players who are out injured.” – GOAL.COM

Kaka in 5-1 win over Siena

    019288790-ex00

After a long hiatus, Kaka finally featured in Milan’s 5-1 drubbing of Siena yesterday afternoon [More here]. He was fielded in the second half, replacing Ambrosini, but hardly posed a threat. He missed a chance at goal and was seen limping in the 70th minute – to be replaced by Ronaldinho. The pain must have been “too pain” for him (evident from photos below). We hope he gets better!

Good the truth is that we are still waiting that
Kakà recovers completely, but we go equally to going forward with the team. do we have to win on Sunday, before the napoli. it will be that Ricky was playing =?
it is not known perhaps, does not play, * but the important thing is that it is improved. that this biem and when he feels ready.
to play that between to the court. filippo inzagui is making equal work an ecxelente q pato.*
but even – that is absent. that we are always aconstumbrados
aber in in AC.MILAN to Kakà ” playing..
      Forza Kakà.* that…

but we go notice exhaust KAKÀ
it goes forward we support you and love you
      RickY

      Kakà not vende./*
      :) :):)

      GOD BLESSES YOU RICKY

      with much cariño.-*:)

If he’s hurt, he’s hurt… Leave him to rest, how long it takes. What good it did to anybody to see Kaka limp? And for what? 3 points in Serie A against Siena? Milan can’t win these points without Kaka? I did not saw game, but look at photos…He’s pale.

    • maria 1:08 pm on March 16, 2009 Permalink

First of all, congratulations Milan and Pippo!!!Then,I was sooo happy to learn that Kaka’ eventually was back in action, but when I realized he was out again so fast I start being scared and Unfortunately that became true because he was in pain…I can’t look at those photos that he’s in pain,is sooo hard…He said he’ll be back as long as he knows he is OK…What’s the hurry???Milan was so good yesterday,Ancelloti shouldn’t have risked it…I only hope it didin’t get any worse…!!!
