KAKA ON UCL FINAL & PAOLO MALDINI
Kaka attended an award ceremony in Milan this morning and voiced his concern for the Rossoneri’s poor run of results ahead of this Sunday’s match with Fiorentina that will be crucial for automatic qualification to the Champions League.
“It is a very special and delicate week, we are going through a difficult time, but have to get out of it and return to the Champions League. Yesterday’s final between Barcelona and Manchester United will further motivate us: we want to relive those emotions and that pressure and win again.”
Paolo Maldini was booed by a section of the San Siro crowd last Sunday and yesterday hit out at the club for not taking a stance against the Ultras. “That was not a positive thing for our children, Paolo was very sad, because he expected a different day,” he added. “He is a very frank person, he does not speak much, but when he does, he is right. Of course, the club does what it thinks it’s fair. It’s a difficult situation and one that is hard to handle.”
“We have gone through a dip in form over the past three weeks, it’s hard to say what happened, but we now have only one game left and can’t miss out on our objective, as it’s too important to play in the Champions League again.” [GOAL]

KAKA ON MILAN’S SERIE A LOSS
Milan lost 1-2 to Udinese yesterday, effectively handing over the Serie A title to rivals Inter Milan.Kaka said : “We are sorry because we expected this evening to close the issue of qualification to the next Champions League. Now we have to (play) two games to close the account. It’s shame, especially because we know how we have to keep the fans (waiting) .
