    MADRID LOSE EL CLASICO

    59031496

So Real lost the clasico game to Barca last night (1-0), in a game full of excitement and of course, one which marked Ricky’s first big game against the Catalan giants. Anyway, watch this interview Ricky did with RMTV after the game… where he certainly looks tired!

Kaka Can’t Wait for El Clasico!

    12z12

Ricky cannot wait to take on Barcelona in the Camp Nou on Sunday… and neither can we!

“Barcelona can play with their eyes closed. They know each other perfectly and play so well, but we are the leaders. I don’t think either side is the favourite on Sunday,” he said.

“Heading into the match as the top team is good because we can open a four-point lead by winning.”

On a personal level, the former Milan star thinks that he is beginning to find his best level after a spell adapting to a new country and different style of football.

“I am improving little by little. I prepared well and I am growing with the team. I am figuring out exactly what position and role I play in order to benefit the team,” he added.

Meanwhile Kaka has revealed his admiration for Sevilla, who inflicted the only defeat on Real in the league last month, and in particular their wingers Diego Perotti and Jesus Navas, who caused so many problems that evening.

“I really like Sevilla. They have really surprised me. Perotti and Jesus Navas are very good,” he said.

i don’t wanna b posimistic but we have no chance 2 win yet.
i don no how 2 face my friend maryam hu is 1 of the biggest fans of barca.

    Real In Top Position

    santand342

Real Madrid continued their fine start to the Primera Division season with a steady if unspectacular home win over Racing Santander last night.

Gonzalo Higuain scored the only goal of the game in the 22nd minute as Real made it 28 points from a possible 33 from their 11 games so far. It was not the most convincing of performances, but the three points will be what concerns coach Manuel Pellegrini most ahead of an important week that sees them play Zurich in the Champions League and then travel to the Nou Camp to face Barça next weekend.
Cristiano Ronaldo may be back for those two games, but he was missing again as Real Madrid failed to build on a good start that could have seen them lead 4-0 inside the opening half-hour. Xabi Alonso’s low drive hit the far post before Kaka saw a curling effort that was destined for the top corner superbly tipped over by Tono. Alvaro Arbeloa was also denied by the woodwork when his attempted cross cleared Tono but rebounded back off the crossbar, and from the loose ball Royston Drenthe stung the palms of the Racing Santander custodian. Kaka came close but his header was saved by Tono, who then produced a brilliant stop to deny Higuain in the 70th minute. While they only held a one-goal lead, Real could never be comfortable and they had a brief scare with 15 minutes to go when Racing teenager Sergio Canales fired past Iker Casillas, but that effort was also ruled out for offside.

Following this victory, Kaka’s glistening football career with Real Madrid is destined for much excitement. And with el clasico this weekend between Barcelona and Real Madrid, you can get involved by placing a bet and winning!

Kaka: Messi Will Win FIFA World Player Award

    Nic403525

Real Madrid star Kaka has revealed that he believes Barcelona star Lionel Messi will be crowned the FIFA World Player of the Year for 2009 after the success the Blaugrana had last season.

Messi has finished second in the poll for the last two years, behind Cristiano Ronaldo last season and behind Kaka in 2007 and Los Merengues playmaker has his eye on recapturing the accolade next season.

“I think it is probably for Messi won everything with Barcelona last year,” he said according to Marca.

“You must have a good year with your club and national team. Next year it will be chosen from those who do well at the World Cup. My goal is that Brazil finishes as champion and then let’s think about individual awards.”

The 19th annual FIFA World Player of the Year will be revealed on Decmember 21 with a list of five players chosen as finalists from the 23-man list nominated last month.
