Brazil Are Confed Cup Champions!
Kaka was awarded the Golden Ball as best player of the Confederations Cup tournament on Sunday after winning the most votes in a poll of accredited journalists organized by FIFA.
The vote was taken before Sunday’s final in which Brazil defeated the United States 3-2, with striker Luis Fabiano scoring two goals to take his tournament tally to five. However Kaka was also voted man of the match by the FIFA Technical Study Group.
‘He had a tremendous influence on the game and was extremely effective on both sides of the pitch,’ group member Abdel Moneim Hussein of Sudan said. ‘His attacking capabilities helped Brazil to reach a new level. On top of that he is also an honest player who never complains. His behaviour is always exemplary and he is the perfect player in that respect too.’
Tim Howard of the United States won the Golden Glove award for best goalkeeper. Kaka follows previous Brazilian winners of the award in Denilson (1997), Ronaldinho (1999) and Adriano (2005).
Brazil defeated the USA 3-2 to officially win the 2009 Confederations Cup Title.

oh i saw d game it was wonderful but in i became a little hopeless in the 1st half when brazil received 2 goals.it was fascinating.i wish the arbitor had glasses to c kaka’s goal.hope 2 c kaka succecful in real madrid 2.

it was kind of confusing when kaka actually made a goal on the second half of the game and it did not count :S
aside from that. he managed his play really well. and the awarded Golden Ball player, he shows really well. being monitored by God the whole time and did anyone see how he was praying as he passed the cup?? it was beautiful!!! <3<3<3 I love him!!!

Gosh it was a game at for cardiacs. Geez after the first half we were down. But at the end Brazil gave a masterful class to USA. Kaka simply the best. Love eith all my heart.

Wowwwwww!!!What a game!!!When the 1st half ended I was sooo desperate…After the end of the game I was flying to the moon…!!!Brasil was a whole other team,the team we know…Ricky was amazing!!!Congratulations to Brasil and Ricky…And let’s hope next summer they will announced World Champions…:)
